Great location , huge it was gigantic , tapping noise kept us up all night and there was not a single condiment , oil or anything to cook . The beds were the most uncomfortable clapped out mattresses.
Pool table was awesome , bring everything if you intend to make coffee .
Amazing place to kick back and enjoy the surrounding attractions. Toured Watertown, Sackets Harbor, Alexendria Bay, Clayton, Oswego. Two fishing trips with Cold Steel / Tom Burke. Great King Salmon fishing. Limited out (as usual with Tom & Andy)
The house was great. We came out for our annual fishing trip on Lake Ontario which we did Monday and decided to make a weekend out of it. We enjoyed the pool table in the basement, that was where we hung out when at the house. Our boys especially loved learning to play. The trail behind the house was great, my 10 year old walked it a couple times with me. The only issue for us was it was extremely hot the day we arrived and when we entered the house there was not any AC or fans on so it took a while to get the house cooled down to a comfortable temp. Overall we had a great weekend!
We were very pleased with the property. Our only modification would be to change one of the amenities. It said that there was a hot tub, and that was a major reason we booked the property. Aaron was very nice and cleared up the confusion, but for future bookings I think that the listing for “hot tub” should be changed so others aren’t confused or think they’re getting one. Also, the bath tub had hair in it when we turned it on. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and the guest services team was super helpful and kind, we appreciated that very much!
In town for a wedding and the house was surprisingly large!
The house met our needs clean comfortable and location. Only suggestion would be for a better supplied kitchen. We cooked breakfast and could have used plastic wrap and extra pans. The house was great and looking to return for the fishing!
Our stay was excellent. Our group of 6 came for two nights. The house was extremely clean, spacious, well stocked, and as described. Inquiries made ahead of time were responded to by next business day. The lodge has turn down service which was nice. Each bedroom and one of the 2 living rooms had a portable AC unit. The kitchen and basement pool table room do not, and could get hot on warmer summer days. 30 min drive to port Oswego for our charter boat trip. Spring and fall are likely perfect times to stay.
The house was beautiful and you could listen to the river while you slept. Great access to the river and things to keep everybody busy. Our family loved the big gathering spaces and game room. Highly recommend this spot for a great family adventure
Roomy and spacious. ROKU did not work. Maybe just needed batteries. I would suggest that the owner put a sign on the garage doors. "Park no closer than 4 feet" The garage doors swings out and can wack a car parked too close. I'm fortunate it just clipped the front of my car.
