A gear room, sun room, dining room, 4 bedrooms, and 2 full baths make this lodge suitable for any size family gathering.

Watch a beautiful sunset over the fields with ample wildlife next our towering early 1900’s equestrian barn, a truly pastoral landscape. Escape to local beaches or the Tug Hill back country within a short drive!

Looking for a peaceful walk or an invigorating hike? Our private river trail stretches 2.5 miles along beautiful natural surroundings, offering a perfect blend of rolling terrain and easy walking. Enjoy scenic views, fresh air, and the sounds of nature as you wind through the landscape and experience the beauty of the river firsthand. Whether you're an avid hiker, nature photographer, bird watcher, or simply looking to unwind, our trail provides the perfect outdoor escape.

Unlike many vacation rentals, our lodge includes a full-time housekeeping staff, so there's no need to spend your trip cleaning or worrying about checkout chores. Relax, enjoy your stay, and leave the work to us—giving you a truly hassle-free experience.

All linens and towels are included with the lodge, along with a full kitchen (coffee maker (K-cup style and drip), cookware, plates, utensils etc.). There is a gas grill and propane provided.

Why they chose this property

The Barclay family opened Douglaston Salmon Run in 1987 as a private-water sports-fishery. The property has been in the family since 1807, when it was settled by Colonel Rufus Price, an Aide-de-Camp to General George Washington during the Revolutionary War.
