Our stay was from the 4th through the 17th of October, two weeks of Autumnal paradise! The house is simple, but solid, and perfectly situated in a quiet neighborhood of Cape May. We had some rain and chilly weather, but the house was tight and comfortable. We had some warmer days, but ceiling fans and some open, screened windows did the trick.The house is fully appointed with everything one might need. Several meals made there at "home" proved that the kitchen is ready for special occasions.Advertised as pet-friendly, it is so much more than just accepting, it was welcoming! Our little chihuahua found comfort on the sofa, and windowsill because of provided blankets and throws. In the fall, dogs are everywhere in Cape May - on the promenade, walking Washington Mall, on the birding platform, on the beaches, and even in some restaurants - so having Archie along was a treat for us, and him!The host, MaryLou, was wonderfully responsive,

Our stay was for Coast Guard graduation so it brief and busy but the house was very well appointed. The location was perfect, close to the base and to town. The host was easy to reach and very kind.

Terrific property. The owners were incredibly responsive and helpful. House was steps from the beach but in a quieter neighborhood which was great. So clean. Kitchen was well equipped. Screened in back porch was so nice. Furniture was clean and comfortable. Yard wasn’t fenced but a great private property. So great to be able to bring our pup. I’m sure we’ll rent again.

We loved the house and the location.Everything was immaculate and there was so much attention to details that made our stay great. We left some new dog toys in the cabinet as our dog was a little too enthusiastic when he discovered the owner's dogs toys. We also enjoyed the map of the Cumberland Valley as Carlisle is my home town. Wondered what the connection was.

We rented this house in Cape May for the week of Christmas, and it was absolutely perfect for our group, which spanned ages 1 to 80. The home is spacious, incredibly charming, and thoughtfully laid out so everyone felt comfortable. The kitchen was fabulous and very well appointed, ideal for cooking and gathering together. Being just two blocks from the beach was a huge bonus; we walked the beach every day, and can only imagine how incredible it must be during the summer months. Most of all, the hosts were truly lovely, incredibly helpful, and very easy to get in touch with. We couldn’t recommend this home more highly.

What an AMAZING week away at the home of Mary Lou and Geoff. Home was very clean, very accommodating and spacious. Great location with so many fantastic restaurants nearby; just a few steps to the beach and Washington St mall. Wanna take a break from the sun or it’s a rainy day, or perhaps want to relax at night, this great home had plenty of games to gather around the table whether inside or in their outside screened in porch. We took the opportunity to stay in one evening to cook and they had all the right resources and accessories from their grill, stove top and tools. We brought along our fur puppies and they felt right at home. We always make sure to pack household essentials (tp, paper towels, garbage bags, laundry/dish detergent, etc.) and they were completely stocked. It truly was a home away from home feel. We made sure to bring our own pillows and linen sheets however they did have some on hand in case you/ we forgot. We loved the outside hose and shower and definitely used it when coming back from the beach. We absolutely LOVED their home! Added bonus was being able to check in earlier courtesy of the owners reaching out. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! We will for sure be back!!!

This was an excellent property in a great location and the host was super communicative and left clear and easy instructions. We appreciate that it was pet friendly, not just dogs allowed, but literally accommodating to our dog with blankets we could use on furniture, a dog door on the patio, and access to the vacuum which we like because our shepherd dog is a fluffy pooch. It was a Fall stay, when it got chilly at night there were space heaters and easy instructions for the heat. The kitchen has everything you need, and the TV’s looked new with all the popular apps on them so we were able to easily login to our various streaming accounts for entertainment. I’ve been coming to Cape May for over 20 years, this place is in a perfect location and would come again for sure. Thank you to the hosts!

Great Stay at Cape May!

An eclectic decorated home in the heart of Cape May just two blocks off the beach. Easy check in and pets are allowed! (Saved us the kennel costs.) Close to the mall and great restaurants. Owners very responsive to any questions. We had a great getaway for Thanksgiving!

Lovely spot in Cape May

My husband and I just returned from a great stay in this lovely house in the heart of Cape May. The house was very clean and well-equipped and we were thrilled with how close it was to the beach and to the shops and restaurants in the Washington Street Mall area. We definitely hope to come back for another stay in the near future.

Homey and comfortable

We loved being so close to the beach and taking the wagon full of beach chairs there for sunset. Sunrise & coffee on the screened-in patio was a great way to start the day.
