The current owner's certainly felt that way when they came to Lydia Mountain for their anniversary and enjoyed it so much that they bought a cabin of their own. It simply called to them and they were home. With a beautiful deck featuring lush forest views, a comfy king size bed, and a wood burning fireplace it will call to you too, and you may find yourself more at home here than any place you can remember. This cozy secluded cabin also offers a hot tub to soothe all the aches and cares away. Descend the spiral staircase to enjoy a relaxing game of pool. Mountain Paradise comes with fresh towels, fresh linens and plenty of cozy blankets, Magic Jack which is free phone service to anywhere in USA, and Netfilx for movie buffs. A true Mountain Paradise -- where your comfort, coziness and fond memories are assured.

Great stay!

I have stayed at Lydia numerous times, and as always, did not disappoint. The cabin is perfect, easy enough drive in to the property. A couple of minor things that they will most likely take care of but the cabin is great. Beautiful view for the sunset. Thanks Lydia for another great set of memories!

Chimney

The chimney may need service. Flue was open and room filled up with smoke. I bought firewokd and couldnt use it. Oh well. Other than that a great stay as usuall

Wonderful but for 2 small maintenance issues

Upstairs toilet handle was broken had to remove lid and pull up flapper to flush. Kitchen sink faucet hard to shut off. Otherwise it was great. One of our favorites we have stayed at

Beautiful Cabin

Beautiful cabin very clean. There were a lot of bore bees and wasps of some kind, but I think it may just be that time of year. There are a lot of wasp nests on the underside of the back deck and on the ceiling, they may need to be addressed at some point. It was hard to be on the back deck during the day but the bees went into their holes in the wood at night so we were still able to enjoy the back deck and the hot tub at night! Couldn’t figure out the Televisions but we didn’t really use them much either, I would recommend anyone coming who wants to watch tv, to bring a couple of dvds to watch. The pool table was fun to play, many of the sticks however are missing tips or are warped, so as long as you’re just playing to have fun it’s okay. Overall it was still great and very tranquil, it was a peaceful relaxing weekend and we still very much enjoyed our stay!
