The Yurt + Property: There is designated parking adjacent to yurt. Long gravel driveway for access. Well paved gravel roads off of the highway. 4 wheel drive is not necessary, average cars should be able to make it. Occasionally we have snow conditions during winter months. The yurt has three spaces- the main yurt space, the kitchen, and the bathroom. All areas have doors separating the spaces. We have electricity throughout with heating. Our main water supply is a well which is safe to drink. The bathroom has low flow flushing toilet with composting tank beneath structure and graywater system for shower, etc. Please don't flush anything but toilet paper. We provide biodegradable soap/shampoo/cleaning supplies, please use these or similar natural cleaning products when possible. We have designated spaces, next to and below, the yurt to spend time outside but feel free to explore on the property! We have wifi available (Starlink) which is mostly reliable and consistent although occasionally it goes out for a short period of time in the evenings. Cell service can be somewhat limited, depending on your carrier. We recommend turning on wifi calling when in the yurt to help increase cell service

Pets: * Must not be left unattended * Should be kept on leash at all times when outside due to wildlife on property. Our property gets frequented by deer, turkeys, lots of squirrels, and skunks. * Dog bowls, blankets, and waste bags for animals are available in the yurt- please use them during your stay * We love animals and want to keep our space pet- friendly. We do not charge a pet fee and in exchange, we ask that you help minimize wear and tear on our space by keeping animals off of the furniture, ensure animals don't scratch floors and furniture, and clean up excessive hair/dirt before leaving * We reserve the right to charge additional funds if the space requires excessive cleaning or there is damage due to pets
The Area: Jacksonville is the closest larger town (approx. 20 min drive) which has shopping, a grocery store, post office, eateries, etc. but if you need to grab something in a pinch, there is a small grocery store, hardware store, and a drive through coffee shop in Ruch (approx. 5 mins drive) from yurt. We are located approx. 30 mins from larger stores like Costco, Trader Joes, Fred Meyer, Target, etc. in Medford

We have stayed here twice and love it. It’s so peaceful. Chris and Emma are great hosts. Our dog loves to get away from the fireworks he has a perfect sun spot n
The yurt was super cute and larger than a comparably priced hotel room. We made good use of the kitchen so that we didn’t have to drive into town. The area it’s in is beautiful! When I had to text the property owner, she got back to me very quickly. Great place to stay all around.
I absolutely loved staying in this yurt! It was perfect! Cozy, yet spacious with all the amenities you could ever need and want. The bed was super comfortable, loved the fireplace, full kitchen and bathroom! I will definitely stay there again!
Amazing! I really enjoyed my stay! The land was beautiful and the yurt was very comfortable. Every detail was well thought of. Best VRBO. A must stay if you will.
A true getaway. So close to all the Applegate Valley has to offer, yet a long drive down a gravel road away from it all.Above and beyond ‘glamping’, this is a home away from home. The most silent place I’ve stayed in a long while.Every kitchen and bathroom amenity you could possibly need, plus super comfy beds. Will definitely return.
Gorgeous, peaceful space inside and out. I loved the big welcoming bed, the wonderful smell of the linens, and the lovely decor. It really felt like home for my three night stay. The soaking tub was amazing, and all around it's just a special place. Thanks to Emma and Chris for creating a place to get away from it all. I will absolutely be returning in the future!
It’s a great place for anyone who loves hiking, nature, scenic beauty, a remote setting and peace and quiet. This is much more than just a yurt. The attention to detail throughout is great. The proximity to topflight wineries makes wine tasting after your hike easy and fun.
Looking for a have a yurt-tastic adventure? This is it.
The hosts are as amazing as the view.. a perfect place for a long weekend couples get away, or a place for a small family to enjoy some peace and quiet. Amazing view, and accommodations. Hard to see from pics, but full sized yurt, and an add on with full kitchen (sink/stove/fridge) and then another room with full bath including deep tub w/shower and heated floor. Would gladly go back, Yurt-opia awaits!
This property is amazing. A beautiful yurt in a beautiful location. The yurt was spacious, well decorated, comfortable, and perfectly located. It was the most well stocked VRBO we have ever stayed at as anything we needed was available within the property. The bed was sublime! We were surprised to learn that the hosts lived close by on the property but that was a blessing as Chris was gracious enough to help move our motorcycle trailer with his tractor. Emma was a wonderful communicator and quick with responses. We truly enjoyed our stay.
It was a bit adventurous arriving at the Yurt. Be prepared to drive on a gravel road through magical trees and perhaps a wild turkey or deer crossing the path. The yurt is beautifully made ,complete with everything you may need to enjoy staying there I especially enjoyed my baths in the tub with windows looking out in nature. One night it rained and it was wonderful listening to the drops fall on our huge “tent”. We also enjoyed kindling the fire every evening.
This property was way beyond my expectations. The yurt was decorated beautifully inside. You don’t have to pack heavy. Emma and Chris have set up the kitchen with everything you will need and then some. The bathroom was also more than adequate. Nice tub and composting toilet. Well water tasted great. Living area had ac, heat, comfy queen bed, table and chairs and other really nice furniture. Outside was two sitting area and a hammock. Well deserved score of 10 exceptional!!!
What a wonderful secluded yet convenient place to see things near by . A great place to get away from the Rat Race Our dog loved it too It was so cool to see Deer and their fawns and a Buck. We call it a Yhome. Because it had a full kitchen and bathroom attached to the awesome Beautiful Yurt
The hosts are amazing. Went out of their way to make sure we had all we needed. Already planning on when we can go back Hesitate to give it high reviews because now everyone will go and the availability won’t be so good!! :).
I loved staying here, wish I had stayed longer. Fell asleep listening to the rain on the roof. So quiet and peaceful. There are no shades on the windows but I like waking up to the sun. Definitely remote, on the way out passed turkeys and deer. WiFi worked in place of cell signal. I only brought food to microwave and there is no microwave but thanks to provided snacks I didn't go hungry. This place truly is wonderful. I would heat up water on the stove if you want to make use of the big soaking tub. Hot water ran out pretty fast.Definitely would stay here again and definitely recommend!
This was such an amazing magical experience. I wouldn't ask for anything to be different. Emma and Chris are amazing people. They made us feel welcome and went out of their way to communicate with us.
We live on the property in the main house above the yurt. We're often in the garden, woodworking and or doing ceramics in our studio. We have two dogs who stay in an enclosed space while guests are onsite. We do our best to minimize noise and ensure guests have a private and tranquil experience.
