Sodus is home to this cottage. Sodus Bay Lighthouse Museum and Smith Family Farm are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Lake Ontario and Beechwood State Park.
The owners were very responsive (when we had questions) and they had everything needed to make our stay pleasant. Sitting and eating on the expansive deck each morning and late evening overlooking Lake Ontario was spectacular. The (metalworking owners (Paul/Christine)) sculptures and furniture are tastefully sprinkled both indoors and outdoors. Extremely impressive quiet property.

Thank you for staying. You and your family are welcome back anytime.
The house was one of the best we have rented in the 30+ years of vacation rentals and Christine went above and beyond other hosts. The house was very well stocked, (not cheap beat up utensils and cookware) clean and great location with a great view! Our family cant say enough about the house and Christine. We felt like we were staying at home not rental and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Awww, thanks! Please come back and visit. You were perfect guests.
Beautiful property with owners metal sculpture pieces throughout the landscaping and home. Incredibly well stocked with anything you could possibly need. Very quiet and relaxing with a huge deck that overlooks Lake Ontario. Communication with host was excellent. If this is the area you want to be in I can highly recommend this rental.
This place is beautiful, serene and peaceful. Between the multiple decks with large comfortable Adirondack chairs and the lake itself, it would be hard to imagine a better view and setting. We spent almost all of our time there. Christine and her husband's artwork was the icing on the cake. In addition, Christine is the consummate host. From the initial photos she sent, to the last discussion related to check out, she made us feel comfortable and welcomed. We fell in love with the place and hope to get back in the not so distant future.
We stayed at Christina's place for 3 nights and our experience could not have been better. This place is just gorgeous and filled with tranquility and calmness. The host created a place filled by various art studio objects that create unique charm and aura around it and make this place one of a kind. To add to that: the place is pristine clean, well-taken care of and has all of these small things that make staying there as worry free as possible. Views are fantastic and you can see various birds flying over the lake. Special thanks, for the welcome chocolate brownie - that was such a nice gesture!! Will definitely try to come back in future
