We loved this property! Plenty of room for everyone. Having private dock was so convenient and we enjoyed the fire pit at night. Wish we could have stayed longer! When we mistakenly left a few items behind the host Mary went above & beyond to get them back to us.
Beautiful Lake front home. Lots of bedrooms and an upstairs loft/family room great for separate conversations, TV or game playing. Host was super to work with and accommodating. Very private with an awesome beach area and fire pit. Would definitely consider staying here again!

Phil and his family were a pleasure to host. Communicative and respectful, they enjoyed Newfound Lake Hideaway over a beautiful, long holiday weekend and took exceptional care of our home. The Checkout Checklist was followed to the letter and everything was left in it's proper place.
We welcome Phil and his family back to stay anytime and recommend him to other hosts without hesitation.
Our extended family stayed for ten days and had a great time ! The best thing about the house aside from being right on Newfound Lake, was the roominess of the house . We had our elderly mother, who slept in the bedroom on the main floor with her own bathroom . Upstairs has so many bedrooms and additional sitting/rec rooms so everyone could spead out during our stay .
Wonderful retreat right on the beautiful and clean Newfound Lake. Getting into the water was a little difficult with all the rocks, but it was worth it! My elderly mother was unable to swim as she couldn't manage the rocks. Beach towels and floaties were provided. We used the fire pit at night, and it was so fun to be out there right on the water with a fire. The home itself was amazing, with lots of spaces for hanging out. The biggest issue was probably the dirt road leading up to the home, which was rutted and dusty. My tires were not happy. Still, I would definitely return as it's a great space for family and friends to hang out.
We stayed for a wedding that was down the street at New Found Lake Inn. Property was beautiful, house was clean. Enough rooms for all (there were 8 adults). Enough bathrooms/showers, however, the listing did not mention you only get to take a hot shower for 8-10 minutes, but the informational binder at the house did. We were not thrilled about this. Especially for the cost. A house that size should have a large hot water tank. The dirt road leading down to the house had a ton of huge pot holes, almost damaging our cars. Overall it was a pleasant stay, and would recommend, just need to do some maintenance with the hot water tank and driveway. Glad we stayed but probably wouldn’t rebook unless those items were repaired or cost was less.
Thank you, Lucas, for your 5 Star Review. We are delighted to know that your visit to Newfound Lake Hideaway was enjoyable and that the house was comfortable for your family.
I hope we can host you again, you are welcome anytime.
