This is a beautiful home with an amazing waterfront location. The interior was spotless and tastefully decorated. The kitchen was thoroughly stocked with plenty of dishes, cookware, utensils, and appliances. All beds appeared new and were extremely comfortable. We spent our days lounging on the raft and paddling the kayaks, Our nights were spent sitting around the beachfront fire pit. We would definitely consider staying here again on future vacations.

Thank you for the wonderful review! We’re so glad you enjoyed the house, the waterfront, and your time on Newfound Lake. It was a pleasure having you as our guests, and we’d be happy to welcome you back anytime!
We spent a wonderful week on Newfound Lake. The house easily accommodated our multi-generational family of twelve. We enjoyed the water views from every room, boating and swimming in the crystal clear lake, and fires on the private beach. The house was spacious and spotless, the furnishings are nicely updated, and the kitchen is fully equipped. Rick was very helpful and responsive. We are already planning our next stay!

Thank you for the kind review! We’re so glad the house worked well for your family and that you were able to enjoy so much of what makes Newfound Lake special. It was a pleasure hosting you, and we’d be delighted to welcome your family back for another stay!
Our extended 9-person family booked this property for our annual family trip. We were initially hesitant to book since there were zero reviews. We learned that the house had just recently changed hands and was being renovated. Although we were nervous about being possibly the first renters, the house and location looked like a great fit, so we took a chance.Overall, we had a terrific stay. The common areas are fantastic -– with great porch space and lots of interior space to spread out. We were pleasantly surprised to find that there were MORE beds than listed, a situation we've never encountered! We noted that the listing did not say AC, but most BRs had ceiling fans and several had room ACs – so temperatures were comfortable. Furnishings and decor appeared new, attractive, and welcoming; views from the house were beautiful. The kitchen is very well stocked with appliances and gear. We enjoyed the game room, kayaks, nice beach, fire pit, dock, and floating raft. Experience Newfound Lake was a great resource nearby and there were several conveient markets and dining spots/services.Groups of non-immediate families should note that 2 of the BRs are "walk-throughs" and the master shower has a translucent glass block wall that borders a hallway to one of the walk-through BRs. Host communication was excellent. There were a few "teething pains" but they were more annoyances than deal-breakers and the host was extremely responsive. We hope to return if schedules allow.

Thank you for taking a chance on us as one of our first guests and for such a thoughtful review! We’re delighted that your family had a terrific week and enjoyed the house, beach, lake, and all the amenities.
We also truly appreciated your patience and feedback as we worked through a few of those early “teething pains.” Since your stay, we’ve addressed the issues you brought to our attention and have continued making improvements to the property and listing.
We’ve also updated the listing to better describe the bedroom layout so future guests know what to expect.
It was a pleasure hosting your family, and we’d be happy to welcome you back to Newfound Lake!
