About this property
Stylish 2 bedroom apartment near Rialto
Ca’ Sant’Angelo is very spacious, bright and airy, with a special atmosphere: it's the perfect spot for an unforgettable Venetian holiday!
It’s on the second floor of an interesting 16th Century building and it has recently been extensively modernised. It can be reached by a shared entrance staircase from a little calle (small street) and it is fully furnished and equipped to a high standard.
The house is well-equipped for staying in at any time of the year - being fully air-condioned and with gas heating. The fully-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, oven, the large living room with very comfortable sofa, flat screen TV, DVD player and ipod dock, the kingsize bed and wide wardrobe in the master bedroom, the second bedroom with 2 twins and two extra hidden beds underneath, the bathrooom with jacuzzi shower. All of this will all ensure that your stay will be memorable!
The property is very quite, far from the crowd, a very sophisticated way to live Venice. An exceptional light and the Venetian antique structure of the house are the spell of this location; at the same time the guest can find modern comforts as internet connection, air conditioning, big flat screen TV, new kitchen appliances.
We will offer a well stocked library, with Venetian guides, history and cookery books and our own detailed personal guide to our favourite places to see, eat and shop will give you all the information to enjoy your stay at the best.
A”welcome book” describes a personal selection of some of the best places to visit and to eat out in Central Venice. It also contains detailed information and advice on how to get around Venice, and how to make the most of your stay.
Being on the edge of the sestiere of San Marco, it is extremely convenient for the city’s main attractions, all of which are in easy walking distance. Equally, this is a quiet residential areas and a wealth of food and artisan shops, bars and restaurants can easily be found close by and ‘off the beaten path’.
Close by, across the Rialto Bridge are the spectacular daily fish and vegetable markets and the residential sestieri of Dorsoduro and San Polo.
The attractions of Venice are world-known, and discovering these for yourself on foot or by boat, with fresh delights around every corner, is an essential part of the venetian experience.
Cruising along the Grand Canal in a water bus and visiting St Mark's Square, with its extraordinary Basilica and tower bell, will just be the beginning.
The Rialto Bridge with its shops along the Mercerie, food markets, and views of the Grand Canal is another experience that you cannot miss.
Getting off the beaten track can be even more special, with beautiful churches, minor islands, peaceful back canals and little squares with cafes and restaurants to sit out at and watch everyday life going on.
In Venice you will enjoy special events all year around, from Xmas and New Year Venetian-style to Carnival in February, the popular Redentore festival with its amazing firework in July, the Venice film festival every September and the world-famous Venice Biennale exhibition every Summer.

Why they chose this property
I was born in Venice, but I'm currently living out of town because of my job. I love coming back to my home town with my 3 kids, so I bought a smaller house to feel at home, whenever I can come back! Unfortunately, I cannot come very often so I would like to share this special gem with travellers, who are seeking for a perfect spot to enjoy Venice!
My sister, who is still living in town, will take very good care of you and of the house on my behalf.
