Great location for sightseeing, lighthouses, and hiking. A plane tour of the region with Penobscot Island Air is a must, very close and relatively inexpensive.

Ideally located in a quiet area on the harbor, but just a short drive into Rockland. We’ve stayed here 3 times and will most likely return again soon.

Very nice stay

We had a very nice stay at this house. The view is great ... peaceful and scenic. The house itself is well equipped and just the right size for two people. Would certainly stay there again if in the area.

Amazing Owls Head Bay view. Quiet and relaxing. Idyllic and peaceful. Well equipped, everything you need, just bring yourselves. Comfy beds, nice linens. Unfortunately the cottage was lacking in cleanliness. Some of our issues : dusty blinds and floors, grimy stove knobs and kitchen sink. The bathroom had not been cleaned. The soap provided was bars of used soap from many previous occupants. On a positive note, the shower curtain was new! We did enjoy our stay, however the cleaning crew needs to pay more attention to details.
