Awaiting your next family or friend trip, this cozy Mill Ridge cabin is well-maintained and nestled in a fantastic location near skiing, dining, shopping, hiking, and all High Country has to offer!

As soon as you walk inside, you will fall for the cabin's open layout composed of vaulted ceilings, comfortable furnishings, and rustic wood flooring. Settle down and enjoy each other's company around the warmth of the wood stove, and when hunger strikes - utilize the well-equipped kitchen or balcony's gas grill. Wilderness-themed mementos await in both of the bedrooms. Additional conveniences include a private washer/dryer and Pack-N-Play. Outside, enjoy the sights and sounds of the woods on the covered and expansive deck.

On-site, there is ample fun to be had, with shared tennis, pool, playground, and hiking trails. When venturing away from your cabin, explore the area's delicious eateries, hike or bike through Grandfather Mountain State Park, and indulge in some family-friendly fun at the Sugar Creek Gem Mine, Apple Hill Farm, and the Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster. This home is also located within 20-40 minutes of three ski mountains - Beech Mountain, Sugar Mountain, and Appalachian Ski Mountain.

Some good and some not good

The appliances were old and worn out. I don't think the refrigerator is keeping a proper temperature. The dryer is very noisy. Could use more lighting and fans (no ac). The property does not really have tennis and basketball since the courts have grass growing in the cracks and the basketball net is just over a square of asphalt. I enjoyed the nature trail and the pool.

Nice cabin

Nice house. Needs (but doesn’t have) AC for July/August. Ice maker broken. Permanent neighbor dog barked at us for hours and hours. July 2024 - there is construction next door - all day, every day, we listened to an air compressor or shop vac (?) and nail guns and saws. When it cools off and construction is done it would be amazing as long as neighbors keep their dog in.

First Time in Banner Elk

Property was in a great location. Having the community pool access and the creek that runs through the community was awesome. The winery next door was perfect. Only down fall to the property is no A/C. But overall the house is great.
