Very affordable, clean, and in a convenient location near App State. Home is on the side of a mountain on a 2-day road with no shoulder, and there is limited unfenced back yard space which is not ideal for pets. The yard does have some small grass space which is sufficient for pets to relieve themselves. The home has everything needed for a nice stay. The hosts communicate well and are accommodating.
This is a cute two bedroom/1 bath house. We had an enjoyable and relaxing visit while there. The host was very clear with all communications. Our dogs had the best time with all the new smells. The hosts thoughtfully warmed the house up for us before we got there and the nights were chilly. It's not a new and flashy VRBO all sterile and minimalist with all the new bells and whistles, but it's clean, comfortable, and feels like a friend's home you're visiting. The host has a great love for cats which you'll see throughout the decorations. And there is a loveseat glider that I loved so much I'd buy one just like it for my home. All together, nothing but love for this house and the host. We'll be back again sometime
My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the comfy mountain cabin. The cabin was just as described. While it is an older cabin, it was very clean and had everything we needed. The only negative is the driveway but after going up and down the sloped drive it was a piece of cake. If we are in Boone in the future, we would rent the cabin again.

Needs a good deep clean and new fridge. Adequate for somewhere to lay heads but lacks in amenities for comfortable inclement weather family coziness indoors (needs updated entertainment system and comfortable lounging). Needs a good deep cleaning from top to bottom
We had a fabulous stay. The owner communicated with us through out our stay. We had no issues at all. Nice distance to everything. We will hopefully be able to rent again.
Perfect location to attend the Scottish Highland games at MacRae Meadow.

Comfy mountain cabin.
The area around the comfy mountain cabin was beautiful and peaceful. While the cabin could use some updates, everything was generally comfortable. However, there were some cleanliness issues. The property manager was very helpful and easy to work with.
