This beautiful family-managed 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom, townhome is located across the street from Destin's radiant beaches. The conveniently located townhome features three stories with bedrooms on each level and sleeps 10 people comfortably, but can accommodate up to 12 people.

Royal Seaesta townhouse rental rates are very affordable. We have a great value that includes VERY CLEAN AND WELL MANAGED property located directly across the street from the beach. Pompano Joe's & Whales Tale are walking distance. Excellent location and perfect for what we needed

The house was perfect for our needs! We took a very small group of high school seniors here for their senior trip. I loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom so no one had to wait long to get ready. The house was very clean and came with the basics to get started (dish and laundry soap, toilet paper, etc). The absolute best part was the location!! It was just a short walk to the beautiful, private beach! Communication was great and the check in and out was easy.

Perfect spot for the beach

Everyone slept comfortably!! Beach was a 3 min walk if that and it was super nice! We had everything we needed for cooking in the house.

I love the location. I appreciated the communication in a timely manor. I was somewhat diasppointed with cleanliness. I am only saying tohelp improve the cleaning because of the amount of the fees. There was dust on most of the furniture, half rolls of toilet paper and paper towels. The floors were covered in sand. You could not gowithout shoes . I even swept several times. Location was good.

Everything was perfect The only thing that was not good is the access to beach. We started to set up and a very hateful lady informed us that we needed to walk way down because they own the property so you aren’t really close to the beach. The property we stayed at was perfect !

We were disappointed in the condo. The bathroom on the second floor was not clean. The floors were not clean. Not enough comfortable seating in the main area. The neighborhood was great.

we received 2 emails for entrance codes that caused confusion and problems to open the door. The bed sheets were stained, the hair dryers as well as the blinds did not work, the shower in the basement made a splash all over the bathroom and the cloth washer made terrible noise. The only good point is the convenient location. We were strongly disappointed and will not plan to come back.

Overall our stay wasn’t bad, Second day we were there I got a text at 8am saying a repair person would be there to fix the washer at 10am so we gathered our things and left came back at 1pm he was still there.on night three we were lookin for trash bags and noticed a chili pot under the sink catching all the dirty water I never mentioned anything to anyone on the The 4th day we had just got back from the beach and someone was beating on the door saying he was there to fix the sink we were never told or notified someone was coming, just very weird. We didn’t like that random people were showing up to fix things, for paying $4k I feel like these things should have been fixed prior to us arriving. The very first night we got locked out, the host or person who I called yelled at me and said “no you listen to me” he said he sent me a text with all information I never got any text or any information other than the text I got about the washer repair man Disappointing, this was our first vacation as a family in 20 years.

Good Location - Less than Stellar Accommodations

The best thing about this rental was the location. We were right across the street from the beach. The property itself wasn't the best and the accommodations were bare bones.The things in need of improvement are as follows: 1. Overall this townhouse is in desperate need of updating. Everything is dated, old and tired. The decor is odd, it looks like Kirklands circa 1990. Nothing beachy or coastal. The curtains and shades were old and shabby. The furniture was old, junky and as basic as it gets. This property is inline with a 1-2 star motel like Roadway Inn or Motel 6. 2. There was a lack of seating in the kitchen and living room to accommodate everyone staying there. 3. The floors were filthy, all of our feet were black from walking on it. The tub upstairs in the master bedroom was also dirty and gross. 4. The washer jumped off the floor and sounded like a freight train running through the house and the dryer sounded like an air raid siren. 5. There weren't enough towels and the towels that were supplied were the cheap thin microfiber kind that didnt absorb water. 6. The WIFI didn't work more then half the time we were there, which made it difficult to watch TV at night, and also for the teens in our group who liked to play video games. 7. The TVs in the bedrooms were small and pathetic, just enough for them to say there was a TV in each room. I definitely dont think this property is worth what they are charging. I would suggest booking elsewhere.

Disappointing for the price..

Checking in was easy.. the front door has a keypad and the code was easy to remember! The location was the absolute best thing about the condo! Across the street and down a few steps and you’re at the beach! Upon arrival, we walked room to room and noticed the master bedroom sliding balcony door didn’t have a lock on it, the tv didn’t work, half of the closet door was missing, and several knobs were gone. I called the given maintenance number about not having a lock to an outside door with no answer. They messaged my phone saying there should be a pole for that sliding door… there was no pole anywhere and they were notified of that with no response back. Some of the closets smelled musty with a film on the inside doors. The kitchen was stocked with everything you’d need to cook but the dishwasher was very touchy and half of the knobs on the cabinets were missing. The curtains in the living room were falling off of their rods and the windows had cracks in them. We noticed two cockroaches crawling on the couch. The air filter in the hallway was black so we changed that. The bedroom on the main floor had curtains that didn’t cover the sliding door completely so I’m sure the passerby’s got a view when we were changing. I noticed a very large red stain on the mattress (I don’t want to think what that could have been!) The washer also made a TON of noise when doing a load. Overall, we had a great time and learned to laugh at what we kept finding wrong. Read the prior reviews!!

Family vacation

We stayed for 6 days. Condo was in a great location. Beach access was right across the street. Like 30 steps. Condo is in the middle of the strip. Lots to do either way. Would stay there again!

Disenchanted

Property owners had us pay extra money to them personally (not via VRBO site!), citing only 2 parking stalls were available..as we required 3. However, there WERE actually 3 stalls available on site for this rental and we never actually nneded an extra parking site...so THAT was a scam! Following a 10 hr drive with 12 people, everyone had to urinate upon arrival. There was no toilet tissue in the main restroom..not even a toilet paper roll. We noticed the kitchen rug was wet, opened the under sink cabinet and there was standing water. This wasn't a new leak, as there was a black garbage bag wrapped around the pipes and a large amount of putrid, stagnant water standing in the dishwasher, making it unusable. We only opened it once due to the stench. There was a large amount of sand in the washer and dryer which you could hear when they were in use. There was a tile off one stairway, which also was not a new occurrence as it would fall off everytime you went up and down the stairs. The broom handle was bent at a 90 degree angle, the vacuum cannister had not been emptied and was 1/2 full of debris and sand. The living room rug and floors were filthy. We had to clean before we could unpack. Our feet and the babies knees were literally black after being on the floor just long enough to unload our belongings from vehicles to respective rooms. (I have pictures of all of the above). I was responsible for booking lodging and felt as though I had definitely been scammed...considering. The owners were decently responsive..initially within 24 hours. However, have not responded in over a week to my message about charging extra for the unnecessary parking permit and information about the state of uncleanliness. I feel as though I have been ripped off by the owners. We cleaned almost every minute we spent inside. The place was plenty spacious for our 6 adults and 6 children and the location was a short walk up the street, across the road. You could see a small peak of the ocean from the 3rd floor balcony. The "swimming pool" on-site was approximately the size of a hot tub. I was tempted to have all 6 children put on there life jackets and take a picture, but, at that point, was seriously just OVER IT!! I have learned a huge lesson from this stay and will be looking at other resources for future vacations. The time spent with family was fantastic, the rental, unfortunately, took away significant amount of our joy.

Review of the property

The property was decent. Bathroom on level was missing the towel holder, newsroom upstairs was missing a bifold door. TV remotes didn't work properly. Overall the family had a plesent time. Kids enjoys the beach access.

Needs some TLC

Well to start off… One of the bedroom TVs doesn’t even work. The living room tv color is broken. Water pressure in all showers suck esp in the mother in law suite. Not even good enough to wash the sand off after a day at the beach. There wasn’t enough bath towels in the house for everyone to have one. They only left us 1/2 a roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and no extras, along with only one trash bag. Ran out of toilet paper by the first evening there. Floors were very dirty. Definitely not mopped in between guests. Feet were always dirty had to wear shoes to keep feet clean. The ac doesn’t keep the house cool. Very hot in the mother in law suit. Place needs an update with furniture and room appliances. The radio was a cd/ cassette player. Limited seating in living room. Most people had to sit at the dining room table. Several lightbulbs are out throughout the house. Several outlets through the house don’t work. If you have kids or early risers and are sleeping in the bottom or main floor You will hear every step and every chair move across the floor. Saw several cockroach’s during our three day stay. WiFi is non existent, we had several phones and a few tablets on the WiFi and not one could get anything to load. I understand we are at the beach but after a long day in the sun and out and about you want a nice place to come back too and sadly this is not the place. Only positive about this place is the beds are comfy and the walk to the beach is easy even though the code provided was not even correct. Will we stay here again? Absolutely not.
