Definitely enjoyed the hot tub but also the house in general had great vibes! It felt so welcoming and comfy. The doggies definitely enjoyed being able to run around freely.

Our group of 6 ladies had a great time at this welcoming and comfortable home! We spent lots of time exploring the area attractions but when we came home in the evening we enjoyed the comfortable living room with the music selection on the turntable or the hot tub on the deck. The kitchen had everything we could need and the beds were very comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet and safe. We had plenty of towels for showering and the hot tub too. We did take advantage of the laundry facilities once so that helped to be able to pack light. Our only "negative" is the shower curtain liners are so long in both showers they sometimes got stepped on or over the drain. The area was convenient to stay and accessible to the main highways to see the sights. We wish we could have stayed longer and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, thanks for opening up your home, we want to come back!!

Amazing place

I've stayed at a lot of places (and have rented my own) and this is one of the finest. Clean, well-appointed and obviously loved by the owners. I can't recommend highly enough.

This house was immaculate. The kitchen had all the supplies you need. The art and books on the property were wonderful. We enjoyed the jacuzzi very much . It has a fenced-in yard for dogs. A chipmunk teased our dog hilariously. It was an excellent base for exploring Acadia, and lots of great hikes were nearby.

First trip to Maine

We had a great weekend away from our busy lives in New York, to visit family in Maine! The home was a great space to relax after long days of exploring! Very close to anything and everything you would need! Clean and cozy! The view of the stars from in the hot tub were just breath taking! We would love to come back in the future with my in-laws !!

Very nice

This is a comfortable and fun home with a nice, fenced backyard and beautiful gardens. Blue Hill, Castine, Deer Isle snd Bar Harbor are all within easy reach, making this a superb location. The hosts were responsive and friendly. This was also the best decorated vacation home I’ve ever rented. Overall it was a very positive experience.

This is the most amazing home. We had the best experience. The home is warm, cozy, whimsical, clean, well equipped. This home is very close to the downtown area. We had excellent communication with the owners. Messages were responded to immediately. They were flexible, kind and generous. I can’t say enough of how wonderful this home is and our experience.

This home made our visit to Maine relaxing, enjoyable, and welcoming. We immediately felt comfortable because of the cozy furnishings, conveniences that were provided and other amenities the home had to offer. The environment was perfect for our two young granddaughters as they were able to spread out and play without being confined in a small hotel room. We didn't have time to take advantage of the hot tub, but I'm sure that experience would have been very pleasant! It was very easy to find and access the home. We HIGHLY recommend this property. We have encouraged family members to consider staying here on their next visit as family lives nearby. Thank you to the owners for their generosity and providing us a safe and delightful space!

I do not even know where to start on this. We have rented somewhere over 20 properties over the last 5 years for trips, and none of them come close to this house. This is single handedly the most thought out house ever on all of vbro. It is absolutely amazing. Nikki is great with responding. D

We stayed at this lovely home in Bucksport the weekend before Thanksgiving. The rooms are all comfortable and nicely decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The kitchen was perfectly appointed for us to prepare an early Thanksgiving meal for our family in the area. We were very grateful that the owners are so accomodating of pets. We were travelling with our dog and the layout of the home and other thoughtful gestures (pet covers for the furniture, dog waste bags if needed) really helped us (and him) to relax.The location is perfect, just outside of Buckport town center, 35 minutes from Acadia, and an easy drive to lots of beautiful locations along the coast.So many amenities that we didn't even use, including the hot tub, piano, turntable and album collection. Just an all-around excellent property and wonderful experience. We are highly likely to reserve again the next time we come up to Bucksport to visit family.

12 out of 10 for this property AND the host!! Communication was incredible. The provisions were all we could ask for and more. We were there for 3 weeks and loved our time there. Convenient location for us to visit our family and favorite places. Quiet street. The hot tub was a wonderful evening wind down moment. Immaculately kept home and property. There were 4 of us, 3 cars and plenty of room to park. We each had our own room, very comfortable. We cooked, baked. It was very much a home away from home for us.
