Spectacular Beach House Near Cedar Point in Mitiwanga Beach

Welcome to a Spectacular Home away from Home. This home, located in Mitiwanga Park in Huron Ohio sits right on the beach and has spectacular views of Lake Erie both to the north, east and west. Sit on one of the many decks of the house and soak in the views and the sun.

Mitiwanga Park is a kid-friendly community that is less than 15 minutes to Cedar Point, antique shopping, a penny candy store, jet skiiing and more. The beaches of the Park are sandy and shallow for a long distance out and is private to residents (and their tenants). The Park has tennis courts and basketball courts for use by residents (and their tenants). Fish right off the piers in the Park....

The home was completely gutted and renovated in the Fall 2011. The home has two master bedrooms - one up and one down (handicapped accessible), which is wonderful for multiple families staying at the home. Both master bedrooms have flat screen TV's as does the great room so there is plenty of space to spread out. With 3 full-baths and a private outdoor shower, there will never be a wait to rinse off sand from the beach.

The home sits on a gently slopped hill to the Park beach and has 3 sides that face the lake so there are spectacular beach views from virtually every room in the house.

Pictures does not do this place justice, going to sleep to the lapping of the waves at night, the beautiful views from the balcony's, the deck and the beach, are breath taking. The sunsets are remarkable! Could not have had a better time!

Wonderful Lakeside House

This is the third year our group of friends have stayed at this house and we are still amazed by the wonderful views of the lake, the nightly sunsets, and the overall great set-up this house provides. Wonderful House and Visit

My friends and I completed our 4th annual stay at this lake house, and we had another amazing time! Our host always has the house stocked with cooking supplies and fun activity equipment that we were able to use. We truly lucked out with the weather on this trip and were able to spend a large amount of time on the deck overlooking the lake which has fantastic views! Thanks again for the hospitality. We own a home in this same neighborhood that we use regularly with our family. The beaches of Mitiwanga are the best in the area and we fell in love with this family friendly community.

Why they chose this property

We love the area - less than an hour from Cleveland, less than 20 minutes from Cedar Point and the ferrys to the Islands. Centrally located for the attractions of Cleveland, local wineries, Cedar Point and the Islands, this home provides an ideal vacation spot.

What makes this property unique

Beautiful views of the beach and the park from every room. Sit on one of the many decks and watch your family on the beach or playing on the grass of the Park. Tennis and baskball courts are located in the park and are great for the kids. Fish off the piers in the park or take your boat/jet ski to Cranberry Creek (less than 1/4 mile away).
