Two twin Apartments both with 2bedrooms living area with kitchen well equipped-and full bath with shower.. These accomodations are on the first floor (no elevator) of a 15th century building just off Campo de' Fiori.
Within five minutes walking to the Pantheon and Piazza Navona.
Also within walking distance are the Trevi Fountain, the Colosseum, Saint Peter's and Trastevere.
Air conditioning, WiFi, Cable TV, hair dryer, washing machine, ironing facilities.
THE FLATS ARE CONTIGUOS AND COMPLETELY INDIPENDENT.
The ideal place for 2 families or a large group of friends i can host up to 10 people.
I can also provide the transportation from the Airport with a personal driver:the price is 150 euro.

Family trip to Rome!

We planned a trip to Rome with 7 family members, and were very lucky to find Silvio's property. It included 2 apartments that were adjacent, which was great for our family. The location was perfect too, close to the most important treasures in Rome. Silvio was very welcoming when we arrived, and also arranged for a driver to pick us up at the airport plus take us back when we had to leave. Definitely recommend this property!

Large apartment in unbelievable location in the heart of Rome

The apartment was large and within walking distance of all the great sites in Rome (Vatican, Colosseum, Forum, etc.). Our family made it a home base for exploring the city. Close to the tram and other public transportation and many, many great restaurants. Silvio was a fantastic host and very understanding when we had a glitch in our arrival schedule. We will be back!

Location and Charm tucked away in Campo Di Fiori

We rented the 2 apartments side by side for a group of 6. It was spacious and the description was accurate. We loved the details of the architecture in the cielings of the rooms. The wifi was fast! The property was clean and Silvio was fun and extremely accomodating to all of us! When we come back we will definitely stay here again. The location was very secure and next door to Campo di Fiori and Paizza Navona which was just across Via Emanuelle. The restaurant selection and farmers Market was wonderful! Silvio we loved our stay!!

Perfect Location while in Rome

Silvio's place was the perfect location for our group of 8 persons (2 families all with grown children) while visiting/sightseeing 2 days in Rome. After scouring all the vacation rental websites for our optimum place/location in Rome we selected Silvio's double apartment in the Heart of Rome. I feel that the price we paid for the location and size of the property was WELL WORTH IT. When in Rome we wanted to have as much time to visit the sites as possible and Silvio's place did not disappoint - it's all about Location, Location, Location while in Rome. We were able to walk to the Coliseum, Pantheon, Capitoline Hill, Forum, Vatican City, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona and Campo Di Fiori to name a few. There was a magnificent farmers market in Campo Di Fiori that is literally a 1 minute walk from Silvio's place. They had some great spices, meats and other Italian foods for reasonable prices. Everyone at the market was very friendly to us tourists. The furthest locations (Vatican City and The Coliseum) were about 20-25 minutes walking distance from Silvio's place. Silvio was a great host/owner. He was very accommodating to our needs. Silvio gave us great recommendations for a couple restaurants for dinner and the food was exceptional - everyone knows and loves Silvio. Again, I would highly recommend Silvio's place if you want a centrally located Rome property where a car is not necessary (actually I would suggest that you NOT get a car while in Rome).

Great location, wonderful experience in unique setting

The owner Silvio was very nice to deal with. He was away the week we came so his daughter helped to show us the multiple sets of keys and how they worked. There is one for the outside door, one for the metal gate inside the building and one for the apt door. There was one small flight of steps and then the apt splits into two sides. The kitchen is small but effective. The shower had nice pressure. The air conditioning was very good on the right side apt but quite weak on the left. The windows open to a wonderful view of the quaint streets of Campo di Fiore but you will want to keep them closed on weekend nights from the party goers outside. The location is fabulous as you are only steps away from the Campo di Fiore market and many restaurants. Although there is no metro close to the area, Rome is easily tackled by foot or taxi (which is usually 9-10 EUR to most places). The Piazza Navona is right around the corner as is Two Sizes in the other direction which sells really good tiramisu. The apt was very comfortable, especially for an older building in the city. So much fun to pop in and out of the miniature doorway that is the entrance to the complex. We were eight people with eight large suitcases and had plenty of room. I even figured out the washing machine to do one load of laundry! Would recommend!

Excellent location

House was clean and perfect location very close to attractions. Silvio was extremely nice made pick up/drop off arrangement and also when I called in a time of distress to take my husband to the hospital he made the arrangement for that too. Also, his daughter is very nice and helpful to talk to. They are very accommodating to your needs. We were able to walk everywhere and the market was great. There is a lot of good restaurants close by.

Great location !!!

You walk outside and Campo de Fiori is just to the left. Walk a few blocks to the right and you are at the Pantheon or Piazza Navona. Restaurants of all kinds are along the way. Silvio is very friendly and gave a great orientation and arranged for van transport to/from the airport. The apartments have a flexible bedding arrangement so let him know what you need.

Excellent, comfortable apartment with superb location in central Rome

My extended family of eight recently stayed at this delightful apartment for two nights. We were boarding a cruise ship in nearby Civitavecchia, and wanted to explore Rome for several days prior to the cruise. It was a great decision! Our host, Silvio Ioreti, is a very gracious and welcoming person. He arranged transport for us from the airport to the apartment, and then from the apartment to the cruise ship terminal several days later. The apartment easily accommodated the eight of us. The three bedrooms were comfortable, the European style kitchen and living room were very well designed. The air conditioning worked very well in the August heat. This gem sits within several meters of the Tiber River, mere footsteps from the Ponte Sisto Bridge, one of several bridges crossing the river. The apartment overlooks a piazza, with many shops, restaurants, gelatorias within very easy walking distance. The piazza and surrounding neighborhood awaken at sunset; live music, mimes and a plethora of good restaurants. Fantastic nightlife. The apartment also sits atop an excellent restaurant, where we experienced an outstanding meal. The owner, Oliveiro served us himself and was gracious and patient with our weary band of travelers. Silvio's son Giulio came to personally greet us and show us around the apartment.He is very friendly and helpful. Overall, this was a wonderful experience for us. A lovely little pair of adjoining flats in the very heart of the old town. It was a little neat for the 10 of us with only 4 bedrooms but for all the time we spent in the flat, it was absolutely fine and exceedingly good value. Lovely host and very helpful - thank you Silvio.

Excellent location

Excellent location and the owner is very helpful. There were six males and we needed a bed each so the two apartments suited us perfectly, the apartment was clean and well kept. Recommended for seeing all of the sites and being close to Campo De Fiori and Piazza Navona for breakfast and evening drinks/meals.

Beste Ausgangslage für Sightseeing

Wir haben mit zwei Familien in diesen zwei benachbarten Wohnungen eine knappe Woche in Rom verbracht und haben die zentrale Lage in der Nähe des Campo de´ Fiori sehr geschätzt. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind leicht zu Fuß erreichbar. Naturgemäß geht es in der Gegend abends und auch mal nachts trubelig zu, wenn Restaurantbesucher durch die Altstadt ziehen oder sich voneinander verabschieden. Silvio hat für uns sehr zuverlässig den Transfer vom und zum Flughafen organisiert und uns bei Ankunft in einem Schnellrundgang das Viertel gezeigt und Restaurants empfohlen. Die Korrespondenz vorab und vor Ort funktionierte einwandfrei. Die eine Wohnung hat einen sehr schönen Blick auf einen kleinen Platz und weiter entfernt den Campo de´ Fiori. Es gibt dort ein schönes Schlafzimmer und ein Durchgangszimmer mit Schlafcouch. Die andere Wohnung hat ein Schlafzimmer und eine Schlafecke mit Fenster und zwei Einzelbetten, die jedoch nur durch einen Vorhang getrennt ist. In dieser Wohnung fehlt es an Ablagemöglichkeiten und es gibt zum Essen nur eine Art Bar mit Barhockern. Die Badezimmer sind klein, aber funktional. Es gibt sogar eine Waschmaschine. In den Küchen kann man das Nötigste auf zwei Platten kochen. Wenn man sowieso die meiste Zeit auf Stadtbesichtigung unterwegs ist und eine zentrale Lage sucht, sind diese Wohnungen sicherlich sehr gut geeignet.

Great location

We were a group of 10 so we took both apartments which share same entrance after an easy flight of stairs. Each unit has its own door and small kitchenette, everything pretty much as described and Silvio was a great host. There were enough beds for all 10 although not much space for anything else but we hardly spent any time in the apartments so no problem. Wifi works. The location is excellent, easy walking distance to many must see places and a there is a taxi stand a couple of blocs away when we needed it. Silvio also arranged our airport pick up/drop off and that worked out great. Definitely would stay here again!!

When in Rome....!

When in Rome, live like a Roman. This apartment gives a city break a touch more authenticity than staying in a faceless hotel. It is an amazing base for exploring all of the major sites. We ate out for breakfast, lunch and dinner so weren't worried about the kitchen facilities, but if you are planning to cook you might find these a little restrictive - and being English, we did miss having a kettle (!) Yes, it is a little noisy at night over the weekend, but we were made aware of this from a previous review and staying in a property of this age and location outweighs this in folds. Silvio is lovely and if using his taxi service, you will not be disappointed, very prompt and very polite.

Visita perfecta

Un viaje perfecto en un apartamento perfecto. Eramos 8 personas y ocupábamos ambos apartamentos que son tal cual aparecen en las fotos. Las camas muy cómodas y en las cocinas el suficiente menaje para poder desayunar y cocinar cenas ligeras. Todo limpio y con suficientes toallas. El apartamente tiene todo para estar comodamente en una ciudad que no es la tuya pero su punto fuerte por encima del resto es su excelente ubicación en el centro de Roma. Estás cerca de todo. Nosotros nos trasladabamos a todos sitios caminando. Sobre Silvio decir que es un anfitrión perfecto y te ayuda en todo lo que puede. Sin duda es un alojamiento que recomiendo sobre todo para familias con niños o grupos de amigos.

Roman experience

We had nine people in our travel group. There are two connected apartments that flowed beautifully for such a large group. It was central to everything including Campo Di Forio, the Jewish Ghetto, Pantheon, Coliseum and the Vatican. Everything was clean and neat. Our host Silvio, was most accommodating and helpful. He had a van waiting at the train station and took us directly to the apartment and introduced us to his friend who owned a nearby restaurant. We would all highly recommend this authentic Roman experience!

Excellent apartments in the heart of Rome!

My family of 10 stayed at the 2 apartments and had a great time. We had 6 people in the one apartment and 4 in the other and between the two we had ample room for the small amount of time we spend in the apartment. The apartments are in a great location and I suggest if you drive in to Rome that you use one of the two parking garages that are within easy walking distance. The market in Campo Dei Fiori is wonderful and should be part of your early morning itinerary. The little cafes surrounding the market offer wonderful breakfast menus and you can pick up fresh fruit from the market for snacks. The apartment location is right in the middle of everything we wanted to see. Easy walking distance to the Colosseum in one direction, the Vatican in the opposite direction and the Pantheon in between. I highly recommend and feel you won’t find a more gracious host who will go out of his way to make sure you are happy and have a great experience.

Fantastic accommodations!

What a great base for exploring Rome! The location of these apartments is unsurpassed. We walked everywhere from there, ranging from the Colosseum to the Spanish Steps to the Vatican and had the Campo de Fiori right outside our doorsteps. We were two families sharing the two apartments (each with 2 kids aged 11-13), which worked very well, as they shared a main entryway from the second-floor landing. If renting only one of the two apartments, you will be able to securely lock up your own place right inside this door. The front door on street level is locked as is the interior gate at ground level, so the place felt very safe. It was meticulously cleaned before our arrival and the kitchenette was perfectly adequate for preparing breakfast, sandwiches or cooking a simple pot of pasta. The beds were all comfortable. The apartments are fairly small, but not cramped. There is adequate space for your luggage and to sit around in for short breaks from the hustle and bustle of the city. The windows are double-glazed and have interior shutters to block out the heat and noise at night. For such a central location, nighttime noise was not a problem. The air conditioning worked very well as did the wifi. Silvio was extremely kind and welcoming to us and we couldn't have asked for a better landlord. He was even helpful in securing a Saturday night dinner reservation for us. In short, we would definitely stay there again and highly, highly recommend it to anyone visiting Rome. Great price for a marvellous place!

Location, location, location :)

Amazing location a few steps from vibrant Campo dei Fiori and minutes from the stunning Piazza Navona. We booked 2 x 2 bedroom apartments for the family and fell in love with the location and atmospheric building. Silvio was a vivacious host who went out of his way with his generous advice and recommendations - a true Roman character :) We would definitely stay here again on a return trip to Rome. Fantástico apartamento para pasar vacaciones en familia. Puntos fuertes: - Ubicación: Mejor zona de Roma, junto a Piazza Navonna y Compo di Fiore. Se puede visitar andando toda la ciudad. - 2 apartamentos en 1: Se puede combinar 2 apartamentos en 1 con 4 camas y hasta 8 personas. Otro punto positivo es Silvio, un fantástico anfitrion que nos enseño los comercios y restaurantes de la zona más recomendables. El único pero que se le puede sacar al lugar es el ambiente nocturno. Mejor cerrar las ventanas por la noche sobre todo en fin de semana. Un saludo a Silvio y disfruten de su estancia en su apartamento. Muy reocmendable

Ideal Location and Gracious Host

My family and I are experienced travelers to Rome. On this trip, we rented the two contiguous apartments to accommodate our specific needs (six people total) and this was very convenient and comfortable for us--two baths, two kitchens, extra bedroom, etc. Silvio is a very gracious and accommodating host. The apartments and amenities are as advertised and well maintained. The best feature is the ideal location with easy access by foot to restaurants, commercial activity and buses in the Campo dei Fiori/Piazza Navona neighborhood as well as many other sites in Centro Storico, by foot or bus. One word of caution, the area around the property can get a bit loud at night given all the people frequenting the area--restaurants, bars, etc., so leaving windows open in warm weather may lead to interruptions while sleeping. Silvio, lei e' state molto gentile. Mio complimenti!

Perfect location and excellent place to stay.

We stayed here just last week, two families of four with older children. We had a fantastic time and the location was just amazing. A 5 minute walk to the coleseum and great Restaurants around every corner. The rooms were comfortable and clean and we had everything we needed. If you want to be right in the center of everything, this is the place for you. Would love to return to Rome again soon, and when I do, I know where I'll be staying.

Central location and very warm owner

We walked to the Colloseum, Trevi, Pantheon and rode a short bus ride to the Vatican (could have walked to it as well). We were able to eat all our meals at the restaurants in Campo De Fiori...that was literally within a hundred meters. Bakery, Gelato, Market, Coffee shops were all a few steps away. Two families of 4 stayed in the apartment and were very comfortable. The owner, Silvio is a warm person who made himself available to us as needed. We used their towels, linen, iron, etc. We brought our own soap & shampoo. Please note: The area is loud and full of action late into the night. We were OK with it...if you are not, it might be an issue. The apartment is not a hotel and so do not go in expecting hotel like amenities. The shower area is small and could be difficult for someone who is taller and bigger >6 ft or > 190 lbs.

What an incredible time at Silvio's place!!!! Silvio arranged a van to pick our group up from the airport, which was no small task - five of us Waters family and the four Antolovic family, plus all our luggage. The driver was there as planned and he took us all to Silvio's place. Silvio was waiting for us at his place with a big Italian hug - what an awesome welcome to Rome! Silvio's place is in the best spot possible in Rome...walking distance to so many attractions. Silvio had two apartments right next to each other for us that were just what we needed. The thick five foot medieval door to enter the building makes you realize how charming and authentic this experience is going to be and when you walk up the stairs to see your rooms you are met with a nice, comfortable retreat. The air conditioning kept the place cool and allowed us all to sleep well. The best part of this place, though, is Silvio himself...he exudes AMORE!!! Once we settled into our rooms he took us on a 15 minute stroll to where we had reservations for dinner and the whole way he was giving us tips through his broken English, and when when we arrived to our dinner spot we waved goodbye and in unison we all talked about how Silvio was such a great guy. We saw Silvio a few more times throughout our stay and each time it was like seeing a welcoming family member. We all have memories to last a lifetime, Silvio, thanks to you. You were the perfect introduction to LA DOLCE VITA!

What an incredible time at Silvio's place!!!! Silvio arranged a van to pick our group up from the airport, which was no small task - five of us Waters family and the four Antolovic family, plus all our luggage. The driver was there as planned and he took us all to Silvio's place. Silvio was waiting for us at his place with a big Italian hug - what an awesome welcome to Rome! Silvio's place is in the best spot possible in Rome...walking distance to so many attractions. Silvio had two apartments right next to each other for us that were just what we needed. The thick five foot medieval door to enter the building makes you realize how charming and authentic this experience is going to be and when you walk up the stairs to see your rooms you are met with a nice, comfortable retreat. The air conditioning kept the place cool and allowed us all to sleep well. The best part of this place, though, is Silvio himself...he exudes AMORE!!! Once we settled into our rooms he took us on a 15 minute stroll to where we had reservations for dinner and the whole way he was giving us tips through his broken English, and when when we arrived to our dinner spot we waved goodbye and in unison we all talked about how Silvio was such a great guy. We saw Silvio a few more times throughout our stay and each time it was like seeing a welcoming family member. We all have memories to last a lifetime, Silvio, thanks to you. You were the perfect introduction to LA DOLCE VITA!
