Thank you for your honest review! We apologize about the carpets. During peak season, it’s hard to get the carpet cleaned when we have back-to-back reservations. The carpets were just cleaned now that the calendar has opened up. We purchased two brand new bikes and kept one of the old bikes so there was a third, but we will be sure to get rid of it so it doesn’t mess up our reviews moving forward.

Hi Tatsuya, We are happy to hear you had a wonderful stay despite the small hiccups! As we communicated with you the night of arrival, we had a brand new crib planned to arrive the very next morning and we paid extra for overnight expediting, but unfortunately Amazon dropped the ball and overpromised on the delivery. Our new housekeeping company did leave a new roll of paper towels on the counter and a trash bag in the bin. Though the housekeepers are supposed to leave extra supplies, normally vacation renters' are responsible for purchasing paper goods to last their entire stay, based on their needs. After your concern, we did have a box of 24 rolls of paper towels delivered the very next day for your group, so you had more than the roll housekeeping left on the counter, and we personally delivered a roll of trash bags and a brand new sponge. Thank you for letting us know about the AC, we have scheduled a technician to service it for our guests this summer.

Hi Ashley, The only attempt to scam here is by you. Our staff went above and beyond to make sure you had an incredible stay at our beautiful home, but the first words out of your mouth upon arrival were “we think we paid too much for this place- what are you going to do about it?”. From that point on you made it a point to harass our staff throughout your stay and threatened to leave a bad review if you didn’t receive a refund. The reason why you don’t have a record of us promising you a refund is because it never happened. Your comments about our home are simply not true, but that really wasn’t the point of your scam. However, we feel its important to address your issues to make it clear for future guests. Our home is fully stocked with everything you need to start your vacation- including soaps, paper goods, trash bags and anything else that a great vacation rental offers. Our home is professionally cleaned and maintained as reflected in our stellar reviews for the past 5 years. While it is true the AC was being serviced upon your arrival, we went above and beyond (paying an additional fee) to make sure it was fully operational within 2 hours of your check in time. Please keep in mind outside air temp was only 78. We even offered you a late check out to make up for the repair time. Regarding the photos on our listing- we try to make it as clear as possible what is included with our home. Unfortunately, you have misinterpreted those pictures. The picture of our building is posted on our listing as a guide to help our guests locate our home. This does not mean you have access to the entire building (as is noted in the captions) any more than you have exclusive rights to the beach also posted in pictures on our listing. We leave it up to our guests to read the descriptions and reviews of our beautiful home. We can’t be held responsible if you can’t take the time to read about our property or attempt to renegotiate the rate after arrival. Lastly, we are disappointed that VRBO would allow this type of review. The motive behind this clearly has nothing to do with the property and everything to do with a guests attempt to bully us into reducing their nightly rate- something VRBO claims to frown upon.

We appreciate the positive feedback. This is one of our most popular vacation rentals. We've never had confusion over the photos with a guest thinking that the downstairs patio was theirs to use. It states very clearly that it is a townhome. We also know there's anything weird with the patio table at the master bedroom level. It is very accommodating and also has an ocean view. The guest didn't mention the nice table that is provided at the entry level right next to the kitchen. It is just not possible to please them all but we try our best.
