Easy to find, just a jog away from Augusta. A clean, private place to stay that was perfect for our needs.

Our experience

It was cute and cozy and has good potential but there were several things that we encountered. The location is very rural and quiet which was very nice. The check in was smooth and the WiFi worked great which was nice because rural Maine has spotty cell service. The unit was clean, but a few things other potential renters should know. First is the bathroom situation. Apparently there are issues with their septic leach field and they request that guests but their toilet paper into the bathroom garbage can. We probably would not have booked this if we knew of this ahead of time. There were plenty of little garbage bags provided. The couch that is shown is not comfortable at all. If I owned this place I would have put a decent couch in as this was the only place to sit and watch TV. There is a full kitchen as shown but the only kitchen items in the drawers and cupboards is silverware and mugs. Oh and two plates. No bowls, no kitchen gadgets, no baking sheets, no drinking glasses, etc. If I am renting a place that is shown to have a kitchen, I don’t want to have to bring all my stuff from home to have to use it. I think a decent couch, 350 spent at Walmart to stock the place and a call to a plumber would all really help the guest experience.
