This is our 2nd time staying here. It’s perfect for me, my husband and our little dog. The fenced yard is great! Kitchen had everything we needed & I even baked cookies! Host is friendly and responsive! Another great experience here!
Yes rooms clean, kitchen fine, host very nice (I just had problems with connections on my tablet but am thinking that is on me).A few safety issues also concerned us. The stairs outside without railings and the upstairs interior staircase.Enjoyed Saugatuck, Holland, and Grand Rapids.Thank you.
We enjoyed our first visit to Saugatuck and staying in The Corner Cottage. It was clean, comfortable, and within an easy walk of restaurants & shopping.
AMAZING rental if you travel with your pets. Great fenced in backyard and peaceful setting. Home was clean, located in a great neighborhood. Walking distance to downtown area, restaurants, etc.
Nice cottage, we had a comfortable stay. Our kids loved the backyard area and we are many meals at the picnic table. Tim was very responsive. Thanks for a great stay!

Great location but this property is in need of attention. The exterior is unkempt and I spent some time with basic cleaning before we used any of the furniture on the porch or backyard space--lots of winter leaves and debris had accumulated. I encountered bee hives and a significant number of spiders and webs. While the interior was clean, there is no air circulation, so was quite musty. The floors are very uneven and stairs a bit treacherous for anyone with compromised balance, several areas of the living room ceiling are cracked and unsightly. The kitchen is nice (except for uneven floor) but the bathroom doors do not lock or stay closed. As we had two couples using the space and one of the bathrooms is in the kitchen, it was not ideal. The kitchen has the basics but was not as well equipped as we've experienced at other properties. The host was communicative and the location is about 1/2 mile from downtown, near the Blue Star Hwy and just across from water, so we enjoyed all the opportunities to walk and experience Saugatuck and nearby towns.
Loved my stay and would definitely return. Great communication with the host. I lost my keys when trying to check out and he was very accommodating by letting us stay a bit after checkout until we found them.
Great location within walking distance to downtown. Easy check in process and communication was quick and reliable. Property was clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend.
Pros: Excellent communication with host, and we loved the location; the cottage itself is private, and we were within walking distance of downtown Saugatuck. Floors, bathrooms, bedrooms, and kitchen all looked very clean. Kitchen was also stocked with utensils and cooking equipment, very convenient for eating at home. Cons: The couch pillows unfortunately seem to get missed during cleaning services, and are covered in dog hair. Also, if you have any conditions that affect balance, you should be aware that the base floors are not level. Overall really enjoyed our stay! Would consider staying again, but do hope to see the couch pillows as clean as the rest of the house.
Communication with Tim was effortless which I appreciate very much! There was no need to contact him once we were there because everything was great. Clean and about a 10 minute walk into the beautiful village area. Backyard area was a hit with my two adult daughters and my granddaughter of 15 months. If you are traveling with a little one there are two sets of stairs to be careful of. We used the kitchen chairs to block and it worked out just fine. All in all we had a wonderful stay in the cozy corner cottage and would do it again!
BUG INFESTED! Do not stay here if you don’t like bugs everywhere. The host was not accommodating and we had to deal with them ourselves. Also, the claim to have “No hidden fees” but we got an extra 200 added on our bill.
We had a wonderful stay at Corner Cottage. The house was clean, the beds and furniture were comfortable, and we especially appreciated the abundance of good quality towels, paper products, and soap. Our dog had a lovely time and the dog run was very convenient. The location couldn't be better, and we will definitely be back.
We had a wonderful, seamless stay for our girls trip! Location was easily walkable to the downtown areas and generally area to get on/off the roads to get to other attractions. Tim was a wonderful and responsive host. The cottage is charming, and I will caution others that the age shows (not in a bad way) with some uneven flooring areas. Just to be aware of for your party if this is a concern! It did not have any effect on our party, but if there are mobility concerns.Again, loved our stay - especially enjoying the rocking chairs on the patio for reading in the evening - and Tim was kind and quick to respond to any questions we had.
