Nestled in the heart of Bryson City, Goldilocks Cozy Hideaway awaits families seeking a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

The space;
Enjoy the spacious outdoor seating on the porch or just a few feet away at the firepit.

The cabin comfortably accommodates space for up to 6 guests. Inside you'll find books, board games, foosball and wall tic-tac-toe for the younger guests. We have DVD movies and offer Roku (use your own streaming app subscription). We have Ceiling fans in each bedroom and living room. Plenty of space to dine in the spacious dining area or counter area.
~On the porch: Blackstone flat top griddle, propane gas grill and hot tub.
~Bedroom #1 (Master) : king size bed with a memory foam topper and ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower.
~Bedroom #2 : has a full size and a twin bed.
~Bedroom #3: has a queen size bed along with sliding doors to the backyard. (A Small rope fence pond. Please enter area at your own risk and watch children at all times.)
~The second bathroom: shower/tub, washer and dryer.

For many people, the fragrances and chemicals in certain shampoos and body Wash, may cause an allergic reaction, Therefore we do not provide.

Conveniently 5 miles from downtown and The Great Smoky Mountain Railroad. Famous Harrah's Cherokee Casino is 25 minutes away. Also minutes away from whitewater rafting, zip lining and lots of other outdoor experiences.
Guest access:
Guest have access to the entire house except the storage room inside the second bathroom.

6 GUESTS MAX:

The maximum guest limit for this property is 6 (including adults and children) no exceptions. This is a strict rule for safety and liability reasons. Guests who exceed this limit will be required to leave the property.

To ensure a smooth experience for both incoming and outgoing guests, we have set our check-in and check-out times to be firm. Unfortunately, early check-ins and late check-outs cannot be accommodated as we may have back-to- back bookings and It affects future guests reservations, and housekeeping schedules for not only this property, but other properties as well.

A starter amount of bathroom tissue, paper towels, coffee and trash bags will be provided. A few kitchen staples (salt, pepper, oil, aluminum foil) may be found. Please note that these supplies are intended to get you started and may not be sufficient for your entire stay.

Mother Nature can be unpredictable and the occasional power outages due to weather may occur beyond our control. We kindly request that you consider this when booking and understand that refunds cannot be provided for such situations.
Though we offer Starlink internet service, we are located in a rural area and the internet connectivity may pose a challenge. We unfortunately are not able to offer any technical support if there is an issue. Therefore, as the WI-Fi service is provided free of charge, we cannot offer a refund of any kind for service interruptions this includes TV Streaming services.

Our cabin is treated for bugs/insects/rodents.
This is our much loved older home in the woods near a National Park. Please be aware you may see wildlife (sometimes domestic neighborhood pets)in the yard and the occasional nature's local resident making an indoor appearance. Even with the best of attempts to keep them at bay. Nature may find it's way indoors even in a spotlessly clean home.

QUIET HOURS:
Quiet hours 10pm to 8am. To ensure a peaceful stay for everyone and our neighbors, we ask that all guests keep noise to a minimum during these hours.

At certain times of the year (the exact dates are impossible to forecast in advance) Asian Lady Beetles impact the majority of cabin rentals in the entire Smoky Mountains region. A cabin that is spotlessly clean on a cold day can be invaded within a matter of MINUTES by an army of Lady Beetles. Having dead Lady Beetles in the property DOES NOT mean that the property was not cleaned.

**SMOKING : Please help us keep our home smoke free. Absolutely NO SMOKING inside the home this includes E-Cigarettes. We have no objection to you smoking in the designated Firepit area or away from open windows or doors. We ask that you put cigarette completely out all the way and please dispose in trash receptacle and not on grounds.


We do not provide firewood. If you would like to purchase a bundle please let us know before your arrival and we will arrange to have it delivered. Firewood may also be available at nearby stores and gas station.
🔥🔥 Our outdoor fire pit is a wonderful amenity designed for your enjoyment. To ensure the safety of our property and community, its use is strictly subject to local and state-wide regulations and conditions.
Burn Bans: Due to wildfire risks, especially during dry or windy seasons, official burn bans may be enacted at any time and are enforced by local authorities, entirely out of our control.
Mandatory Check: You must verify the current burn status on the Swain County website before every use.
No Fires During Bans: No fire pit fires are allowed if a ban is in effect.
Safety Guidelines:
Never leave a fire unattended.
Ensure the fire is fully extinguished before leaving the area (drown with water, stir ashes to ensure all embers are cold).
Do not use the fire pit during windy conditions.
Consequences of Non-Compliance: Failure to comply with these rules and local regulations violates our house rules and may result in the early termination of your stay and potential fines, as it endangers our property and community.

We provide a propane Blackstone flat top Griddle and a grill. Grill away, but please give it a clean before and after each use and make sure propane tank is shut-off after every use.

No animals allowed. Assistance animals included due to a member of our maintenances team severe allergies to animal dander.

**Recording motion /audio devices/Security Cameras:
We have two external security cameras/recording devices located #1) located above the front door monitoring the front entrance and driveway
#2) in the backyard located over( near) the sliding door, that monitors the door & side of the property towards hill/pond.
