The Best value on the River Winter/Spring Special Stay 3 Nights and 15% off

This river front house is an architect-designed, beautifully remodeled, light, airy, private retreat with commanding views of the Russian River fading into hillsides of majestic redwoods. Amazing Deck with a HOT TUB with river views. The 3 bedroom and 2 full bath house is on the point, with a deck, yard, seasonal dock (June to early October dependent on the Summer Dam), and a terrific solarium for indoor relaxing. When not on the river you are one mile from Guerneville’s unique shops, eclectic restaurant scene, and nightlife with festivals, live music and theatre. Ask about bringing a well behaved dog. This well-appointed house offers three queen size beds and a couch with high quality bedding. There are two bathrooms with soft fluffy towels for every guest as well as beach towels. The kitchen is complete for casual to gourmet dining with glassware for wine and cocktails. The house has wireless and Smart Televisions. There is a seasonal floating dock that runs from late April to early November and is dependent on the Summer Dams and the river flow. Kayaks, Canoes, Stand up Paddle Board and inter-tubes are available for your use on the river during the summer dams.
We warmly welcome respectful guests of all lifestyles and family set-ups! Your children are welcome though we hope you’ll help them be extra careful on the deck, dock, and around the river. We hope you enjoy your stay and return often!
Please note we have a 7 person and 3 car maximum reserved parking directly in front of the house. This is a great party house but we have full-time neighbour-friends and late night parties will be reported. After 10 PM no amplified music will be allowed on the Deck.

The cleaning fee is to remake beds, wash linens, towels, put dishes away, clean the bath, vacuum, dust, mop and replace any inventory that is used. Any parties leaving excessive dirty pots and pans or moving furniture or changing the layout of the house will charged extra in cleaning services.

Great location close to DT Guerneville. Loved being right on the river, views from hot tub were great. Perfect set up with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Plenty of space for eating, playing and hanging out for kiddos.

We had a great girls' getaway here. We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful riverside home! Everything was spotless when we arrived, and it was clear the owners take great pride in maintaining a clean and comfortable space. Any minor questions or issues we had were answered quickly and kindly by the host, which made the experience even smoother.Our favorite part of the stay was relaxing on the deck, watching the river flow by as birds flitted through the redwoods. It was peaceful and truly breathtaking. The hot tub was a perfect bonus after a day of exploring. We loved being surrounded by nature yet just five minutes from Guerneville, where we could grab groceries or a bite to eat. It was the perfect balance of tranquility and convenience, and we’d absolutely love to stay here again.

Lovely house, great communication

Fantastic property, tons of cooking equipment, very close to town, Hot tub was excellent. Had some glitches getting the front door code and turning the hot tub on, but the owner, Kevin, was easy to reach and super responsive. Would recommend.

Nice spot on the Russian River

Great location, comfortable house, there were a few maintenance issues and we got locked out of the house (code stopped working on the door) before our check out time. Luckily there were people still in the house to let us back in.

Great view and well equipped for our stay.

The house was spacious and worked well for our large family. We really enjoyed hanging out in the sunroom and on the large deck. It was great to paddle across the river to a small beach with the provided canoe. We spent our evenings in the hot tub enjoying the view. We were happy to be out in the country, yet minutes from town.

Fantastic Rental

We had a wonderful time at Kevin's house on the Russian River. The house was very clean and everything that you can think of was provided. The kitchen was well stocked. Kayaks and SUPs were provided for enjoying the river. To top it off, there was a very nice, large hot tub that everyone really enjoyed, especially since the weekend was a little chilly. It was even better than I expected.

Great girls getaway

Had a great time. The owners’ instructions were all clear and the house has all you need. We were a little disappointed that the dock wasn’t out yet since the listing indicated it should be by the time we visited but the east fix is just reaching out to the owners before your stay. There are plenty of other local access points to the River, too. Not really walkable to the town (since there aren’t sidewalks and it’s a windy road) but Guerneville is super close and accessible. Loved the sun porch and deck!

GREAT LOCATION

We stayed a week for a family getaway. Plenty of space, very clean and kitchen is fully stocked. Deck is nice with a big jacuzzi. Location is great. You feel away from it all but you are so close to town. Having our own private dock with the canoe, stand up paddleboard, kayak and floaties already on the dock for us was great. The only small issue was the jacuzzi (which is right off the master bedroom) goes off and on all night. I'm assuming it's filtering itself but it was hard to get used to and we had no way of turning it off. Other than that everything was great.

Excellent rental, wonderful owner.

There was a hiccup between the platform and owner, to where the owner was unaware we had rented the home for this weekend. Kevin had to quickly rearrange his plans to accommodate us and did so without hesitation. I'm sure it was a huge inconvenience for him, but he was committed to making sure we were taken care of. The home is wonderful and just as advertised. Because of stormy weather we were forced to spend more time in the home than expected, but it was comfortable and had everything we needed. The hot tub is great and private. The home is on the third floor so be prepared to climb those stairs. We had no cell service when arriving at the property so have your access code and any other info before arriving. We had to drive a few minutes back into town to get service. The wifi works great once inside. Thanks again Kevin!

Great location and view

The house is in a great location, overlooking the river and about a mile from Guerneville. We appreciated the kayaks, paddle boards and canoe available at the dock - enough for our party of 5 to all go out on the river together. The house was spacious enough for our family/group. The large deck and view were wonderful - we enjoyed sitting in the hot tub, grilling and sipping wine out there. The host also responded quickly when we had questions about the house. Some suggestions for improvement would be to update the kitchenware, sheets and towels and to clean the grill - it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. Also, having 2 twin beds in one bedroom instead of a full-size bed in each bedroom could better accommodate groups and families (i.e. our teenage sons did not want to be in one room and one bed). I think the couch in the living room was advertised as a pull-out, but it is not. Overall, though we had a great vacation and wold return to this house, hoping that the minor improvements could be made!

Great location

Other than a few household problems we had a very enjoyable stay. Some of the things the owner can look at are: there was only one extra blanket for all three bedrooms. Shower nozzle in the guest bath needs to be upgraded it did not work properly. Sliding screen doors very difficult to open either off the track or bent. Only one burner could be lit on the barbecue had to remove the grates and the shield to manually light the other four burners. The kitchen sink faucet is frozen in one position and cannot be swung side to side. Many of the games were missing parts and cards to the particular game. a four-day stay We we’re informed at the last minute, just before entry to the home that the washer did not work. This caused an inconvenience due to our four day stay. All in all we enjoyed our stay with exception of the few inconveniences that we had to deal with.

Great Location! Beautiful views!

The home was very clean. It had a nice open floor plan with a great deck and hot tub. Great for families. It was located very close to Gurneville, which had good restaurants, grocery store, and shops. Kevin was a really nice host, responsive (although sometimes took over 7 hours to receive a reply when an issue was reported), and wanted to insure that we had a nice stay. There were some hiccups, which Kevin resolved when he could, and stated that the others issues would be worked on. Biggest disappointment was the dock was not open during our June stay, thus we could not use the water toys or access the Russian River from the back of the home. The VRBO description said that it was open June to October, and we assumed it would be for our June 10-13 stay, but it was dock was not. The description should have said sometime in June, which I would have verified prior to making the final payment. There an amazing number of books, but only one DVD (Sponge Bob). Luckily, I was able to log into my Netflix account. There were SMALL TVs in all bedrooms, and in the living room. Could not BBQ on our last night as there was no manual, and the knob settings were illegible, and we were not able to turn in on. The reasonable rental price was indicative as there were some projects that were pending. All in all we had a nice stay and enjoyed the area. One day we went to Safari West (about 35 minute drive) and highly recommend the three-hour tour.

Relaxing River Getaway

We came for Thanksgiving 2022 and had a relaxing stay. The house was located directly on the river and we were happy to find the dock still available this late in the season. The kitchen had everything we needed to make our Thanksgiving dinner. The beds were comfortable and the home had all the amenities necessary for a family of 4.

Relaxing and Besutiful

Home has a wonderful deck for river and star gazing and a beautiful new hot tub. We spent most of the time on the deck when not out floating on the river or tasting wine or walking through the redwoods. Conveniently located but quiet. Our 5 year old granddaughter loved the toys!
