Wonderful ground floor of our 2 story home, complete with private deck, separate entry, and everything you need!

Great for couples or small families. Come enjoy the beauty of the Vineyard. Close to West Chop, near the bus stop. 1 mile to beach and to town. Newly remodeled with huge deck and yard. Nice outdoor space for dining, lounging and sunbathing. In the morning have your coffee while soaking in the hot tub. Then take a walk in the peaceful, West Chop Woods and view the ocean at the overlook. Later pack up your lunch in the cooler and head for the beach. Evenings you can roast marshmallows around the fire - outdoor fireplace on the patio, and barbecue on the Weber gas grill. The hot tub is steps away and the stars await. Sleeps 4. 1 bedroom with new queen Beauty rest mattress and sleeper sofa in the living room.

Ed was great, very personable. The space had all we needed. The deck and hot tub were lovely and private. Location perfect. The only downfall was us being spoiled and used to privacy when you rent a house…lots of local residents lived on street-all friendly but lots of stares when you sit on deck. Having access to Ed’s garden was amazing!

Relaxing Comfortable Vacation

Ed and Lea are excellent hosts and great people! We loved our stay (we are repeat guests). The place is clean and comfortable. Enjoyed badminton and grilling dinner. There are games and DVD's and cable for rainy days. Short walk or bike ride to town.

This was our 3rd vacation at this property. We love the location, size and all that it has to offer. The owners are super sweet & easy to communicate with. Only suggestion - replace the mattress.

Return stay even better than before!

Return visit with very gracious hosts! Cozy apartment in quiet residential neighborhood 5min from downtown Vineyard Haven. Lots of windows. Easy access to washer/dryer. Plenty of room for the two of us and our stuff. Plan to return.

Cozy VH apartment in quiet, convenient neighborhood

The ground level apartment is cozy and is located in a very quiet residential neighborhood, a short drive to downtown Vineyard Haven. Lots of room for parking. It's bright, with lots windows in every direction. It has a wraparound deck, with beautiful pots of flowers at every corner. Comes with a hot-tub, but we did not use it. Interior is very clean and comfortable, with updated appliances. Lots of dishes, pots and pans if you desire to cook. Easy access to the washing machine and dryer was a plus. If you're a musician, there's a piano in the bedroom to play.

We enjoyed staying in VH at Ed & Lee’s house. They were great host and set up the house to give privacy and access to amenities. Sharing their delicious garden veggies and fruits! We will gladly stay again!

Simply Perfect

Ed and Lea were gracious hosts during our stay. They thought of all the little things that make a place feel like home. Communication with Edwin was great. My mother stayed at the property instead of my husband and me, Edwin was completely fine with that change.The outdoor property was great. The property was convenient to Vineyard Haven and I would definitely book it again.

Perfect spot for a small family

This is just a wonderful place. Ed and Lea are fantastic hosts. The property is walking distance from town, and a short drive to wherever you want to be. The apartment is the perfect size for a family like ours, two parents and a baby. And the deck! Just perfect. We spent a day of our vacation visiting with friends on the deck and it didn’t feel like we missed out on anything.

Delightful Getaway

This was a charming apartment that was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully arranged. The deck and outdoor amenities really made this special though. The hosts were warm and welcoming, and had arranged some treats from their garden for us when we arrived. Would absolutely stay here again.

Cozy apartment with beautiful deck/yard.

This in-law style apartment was great for our week-long stay on MV. We cooked a fair amount while we were there and the kitchen had everything we needed. We brought our bikes over on the ferry and it was great to be able to store them on the deck behind the house. The deck and yard are beautiful and we enjoyed many mornings and evenings relaxing there. The street is quite with not much thru-traffic. We got to chat with Ed for a bit about his life on MV and he gave us recommendations for a few good beaches nearby. We would love to come back someday.

Very relaxing getaway

For a relaxing week this was the perfect place for us. Sitting outside in the evenings on the new patio was great. Only thing you hear are the occasional boats coming into Vineyard Haven. Ed was the perfect host. Thank you for a nice week

We purchased our home in 2005 right after we were married. Enjoy hiking the many awesome trails on the island and spending time at the beaches. We have met so many wonderful people being VRBO hosts and enjoy seeing our return friends year after year.

We love the area, it's so quiet and close to the West Chop Wood trails. Walk to the beach near the Vineyard Haven Yacht Club, close to the ferry and Tashmoo.
