About this property

Charming Stowe Cabin w/Hot Tub, Trails, Streams

Relax and unwind in this classic Stowe cabin that backs up to state forest but is just minutes from downtown in a gorgeous, pristine setting.

The cabin was built in the 1850s and features wide pine floors, hand-hewn beams and heirloom antiques. But it has been updated with all new high-end appliances (2023), a great sound system and a sparkling clean hot tub.

Note that the stairs are steep and the beds, doubles, are tucked under the eaves. There is a strict no-pets policy.

Host profile image
I've been a host since the early days of Airbnb and what we love most about hosting is helping people explore and enjoy the places and communities we love.

Why they chose this property

This is a pristine valley that dead-ends at one of the few natural cirques in Vermont and a gorgeous lake and (private) trout club. We are on one of a handful of designated Scenic Roads, have a working farm just down the road, Our favorite trails in all of Vermont are just up the road from us and. you can connect to the Long Trail, the trails at the Trapp Family Lodge or the Catamount Trail easily from the cabin.

What makes this property unique

This historic home was built in the 1850s and is a classic. It backs up to state forest and miles of trails. There is a trout stream across from the house and two other streams (seasonal) on the property.
