The host was very responsive. The apartment was clean and modern. Highly recommend the location and hope to use it again when up in the area doing work.
Great spot to have family stay during a very busy holiday. Property is newly remodeled/built out, gleaming white with great bathrooms and kitchen! Wonderful stay!
Check in was easy. Beautiful view of the river and private and fairly easy to go down to the rivers edge. If you want to wade in the river, bring water shoes. The place was beautifully decorated, bright and clean! Would definitely recommend and hope to visit again.
We enjoyed our overnight visit to this property. The view from the deck was lovely. There was plenty of space and the two bedrooms and bathrooms made our stay easy. The pull out sofa bed was also appreciated, as were the water and snacks we enjoyed upon arrival.

This property is beautiful! Our host Sarah was super accommodating. Everything about our stay was perfect. The river and back yard are lit up at night and it’s great to sit on the deck and relax. Highly recommend! A host!
I came into town with a friend/coach for the both of us to see my son play college baseball 1 mile away at SUNY JCC.The location was perfect to attend the games, go out to eat and not be tied up in a hotel room which I have done before with my wife and daughter. The view of the river and the gas fireplace made it a pleasant stay for this short weekend trip.I would definitely consider this property again when visiting our son at school.
We just loved this stay!! Everything was just as described, but with some aspects that words and photos don’t capture. Such Amazing energy in this place!! Great combination of modern, industrial, simple craftsman, and so much character! The view of the river and the various wildlife we got to enjoy made you feel like you were pretty isolated, yet conveniently located in town. We will definitely be back and will always try to stay here!

It had a nice view of the Black river. Off street parking was nice. Over all wasn't a bad rental. The problems were very noticeable. The floor was uneven. The washing machine drum needs new bearings badly. I would not recommend this unit to anyone with mobility or balance problems.
We brought our teens to go white water rafting for the weekend. The house was super close to the rafting place and it was comfortable. The bathroom layout is a bit odd because you have to walk through the bathrooms to get to the bedrooms, but we made it work. The kitchen was a bit light on pots and pans but otherwise great. The appliances were a bit confusing but they did give us directions. There is no traditional oven but a microwave convection oven. We had planned on making pizza and bacon but the grill worked well enough. We loved the balcony and the view of the river! Lots of little animals around to watch.
Easy to find, clean, comfortable and modern, with higher end fixtures, appliances and no scented/perfumed linens! (A plus for me). Kcups and food wrappings are in drawers.
Riverview from the deck was definetly the selling point to the property.
Read a previous review complaining about the driveway and stairs,
they're fine, just be aware and walk slow entering the unit.
It's on a main road so there is city and traffic noise, less noticable
on the back deck, where you can hear crickets and the river at dusk.
For the price we made sure to spend some time in the unit and watched a
movie. TV and sound was theater like and no neighbors to worry about bothering after 6 pm.
Maggie's/1812 is right across the river and great place to eat.
Appreciated the gargoyles...
Nice stay.
Enjoyed the stay but there are some issues:
Staircase leading to apartment is treacherous including unevenly spaced stair rises.
Courtyard by front door does not drain rainwater sufficiently during downpour resulting in one having to cross 2" deep moat to access the apartment.
I would expect to stay there again hoping they would address these issues.
Excellent location on Black river well lit at night though it would be advantageous to turn off the outside lights at night.
All lighting inside the apartment is modern, bright, high color temperature, and garish. That is not to my liking and detracted from what would be an otherwise comfortable experience.
Our overall stay was nice! The place was cozy, roomy and clean! Not to far from Fort Drum! Just a few inconveniences during our stay.To get to either one of the bedrooms you have to go through a bathroom. If someone in the bathroom you have to wait to get to the bedroom. The masterbath fan doesnt work and no deoderizer available so then have to wait longer. Masterbath showerhead sprays in all direction but down and the areas that did spray downward you were up against the glass trying to use it had to use the handheld portion and shower leaks so had to clean up water quite a bit. The matresses have protective covers on them that crinkle everytime you move so it was a bit annoying. The microwave works but the digital portion didnt work so you had to hope you pushed the correct time you needed. The cabinets have sharp edges and right next to the wall so it didnt quite open all the way and when reaching for a plate got cut on forearm a few times. The front load washer is very loud and clunky when washing clothes and the dryer wouldnt start didnt know that til after. Instructions on how to use the washer/dryer would have been nice to have we had to google it.Would have been nice to be forwarned about some things for the home/area either upon arrival or prior to like the bugs that may come in the home ( there were quite a few), the fire station that is located nearby so heard sirens alot at all times of the day and loud racing cars like to use the area like a drag strip.

The property was clean, updated with a nice view and access to the river. However, there was no restaurant or entertainment walking distance from this location. Bunk bed in second bedroom was wobbly and unsafe.
