Great cabin in a beautiful community

We had a wonderful weekend stay here for a wedding and golf. The trillium community is beautiful and about 20min drive to downtown highlands.

Unfortunately, we used the house in the winter time. There was no heat in the downstairs where my kids were staying. I asked to have the heat issue addressed, and was told that an AC repair would be contacted. The AC was never addressed so we had to send our kids away for the evening to someone else’s house to sleep because it was 49 degrees at nighttime. I was very disappointed that we were told it would be addressed, but never was addressed. Also, the door handles were broken on the front door and back patio doors. There were multiple times that we attempted to lock the doors but could not due the door not closing all the way. The carpets were bunched up, dirty, and stained. There was evidence of a water leak in the master bathroom with drywall peeling off. We just wish some better care would have been taken and our concerns for our children sleeping in 51 degrees would have been taken seriously. We didn’t think that we would need zero degree sleeping bags to stay in a high end neighborhood.
