The cottage is open concept, spacious, clean and bright with lots of windows and large patio doors leading onto a large side deck where one can relax, dine and BBQ. The cottage is in a very picturesque turn of the century community situated on the St. Lawrence River. Excellent swimming, huge deep water dock shared by others in small community. Dockage for boat 20ft. Diving tower, raft. Excellent boating in 1000 Islands. Boat tours, casino, fishing, 25 mi bike path, live theatre, waterfront restaurants, artisans studios, antiquing, antique boat museum, etc.
Notes It is very unusual for a cottage to be available to rent in this beautiful community. All other cottages are used by their owners and are very well maintained. The residents in the community are friendly yet quiet. The proximity to boat tours, casino, good restaurants, etc. is excellent. Groceries, local market, etc. are ten min. away.
Cottage located in very picturesque Victorian community on the St. Lawrence River, 10 Km from Brockville, 45 min from Kingston, 1 hr 15 min from Ottawa, 2 hrs from Montreal. This newer cottage is bright, cheery and very comfortable. Situated on a small lot in a very picturesque turn of the century community with Victorian cottages originally built in the late 1800's. Tenants share the extremely large dock with others from the small community. Many boat slips extend off the main dock. This cottage has its own boat slip and one can sit on it for privacy. The swimming is excellent--deep and clean. There is a small beach for young children-although not a sandy one. There is a diving tower, diving board and raft.

This is a bright cottage located in a really peaceful spot. Great location for a quiet getaway or a home base while exploring the 1000 Islands area. Host is great! Hoping we get to stay there again!

Thank you for such nice comments. We’d be very happy to have you return.
This was a clean and comfortable place to stay in the Thousand Islands area. We enjoyed hiking on both the Jones Creek and Landons Bay trails. We would also recommend the boat tour of the Thousand Islands. The 5 hour tour includes a visit to the castle on Heart Island which was worth doing. The house had plenty of room and the walk down to the pier was pleasant and relaxing. We recommend a visit.

John, thank you for the complimentary review. It was nice meeting you & your wife and we would welcome you back anytime.
Lovely cottage ideally situated to enjoy the Seaway
We had a wonderful visit in this friendly little hamlet. The cottage is high on the hill, very clean and well equipped and maintained with a large sunny living/dining room facing the water. We swam off the dock and had easy access to the Thousand Islands National Parks, Parkway bicycle trail and Brockville. The owner was very accommodating and helpful.

We are very happy that you and your family thoroughly enjoyed staying in the dry comfortable cottage while swimming, exploring, hiking, biking, kayaking and dining in the beautiful 1000 Island and St Lawrence Seaway area. Please keep us in mind another time. We would be happy to accommodate you.
Denise was such a lovely host, so accommodating and understanding. I have no hesitation in recommending this gorgeous, light filled cottage. There is a view of the St. Lawrence river through the plethora of windows as well as from the large deck off the side. The cottage is in a quiet community and sits atop a hill with a short walk down to a dock

Elizabethtown-Kitley, brown cottage rental - June 12 to June 19, 2021
Beautiful and large cottage! The brown cottage was extremely bright with full windows on three sides which brought in so much natural light. Everything was well taken care of. Nice big outdoor balcony from which you could see the water. The cottage itself was really more like a home - with a lot of space! There were 2 bedrooms on the main floor - and upstairs there were 3 beds, which would accommodate a lot of people. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked with dishes, pots, pans, serving dishes - you name it, it was there. Paper towels, soaps and toilet paper were also provided. There were many fans as well for the hotter months. The cottage is not on the water - you have to walk down a hill and then stairs to the water and dock. We had a boat and there is a community dock and a space for you to dock your boat which was important to us. It is very well situated - close to Brockville. The owners Denise and Jim are extremely nice people and will help you in any way that you might need. Jim even helped us to launch our boat! All in all, it is a beautiful property and we really enjoyed our stay.

Thank you for the kind review. We always hope that our guests feel welcome and comfortable and that they enjoy our location near boat tours of the 1000 Islands, waterside dining, golf, casino, hiking, antique shops, etc. Nearby Brockville is a lovely town on the St Lawrence River with a lovely waterside park, marina, waterside patios and more formal dining. The downtown has a variety of shops, bake shops, restaurants and a Saturday morning market during the spring/summer/fall.
