The cabin has a freestanding gas fireplace to keep you cozy and warm along with air conditioning for hot summer days/nights. Come prepared to relax. This is a rustic cabin with all amenities so no need to pack up dishes, bedding, towels, etc. (bring sleeping bag and pillow for anything other than the queen size bed.) The kitchen is fully stocked with your basic cooking and dining essentials. If you don't want to do dishes you are welcome to bring your own paper plates, etc. Coffee, coffee filters, cooking spray, Salt, pepper, dish soap and hand soap, toilet paper and one roll of paper towels provided. There is no running water, but you will be supplied with electric pump faucet with 10 gallons of water for the kitchen sink for doing dishes, etc. You can heat water on the stove with the pot provided. There is also an electric pump faucet for the outhouse sink. In addition, 2 gallons of drinking water will be supplied also. There is a heated outhouse next to the cabin which has a shower stall and an on-demand water heater and 120 gallons of water in which you can take hot showers. Towels and wash rags are supplied and if you need more water, you can contact us, and we can refill at our home which is located next door. Please allow us notice in case we are not home at the time. The contact information will be provided with your booking confirmation. You have your own private yard on our 6 acres with a BBQ pit (summer months), firepit and charcoal grill off of the back deck. If you chose to bring a four-wheeler, canoe, boat or snowmobile there is plenty of parking space depending on the quantity. There are also snowmobile and side by side rentals available three miles up the road. Come and disconnect and unwind or explore the many wonders that the Northwoods has to offer!

Although we are animal lovers, no pets are allowed. No unauthorized guests or pet are allowed and may add an additional fee.

No smoking or vaping is allowed in the cabin. Ashtrays are available to you if you would like to smoke outside. Please do not leave cigarette butts anywhere but in the ashtrays. When using firepit be aware of wind and do not have campfire in extremely windy days/nights. Extinguish fire when not attended. Buckets of water are available for completely extinguishing your fire. Please note that at certain times burning bans may be in effect. Bring bug spray in the spring/summer!

Be aware that this is bear country and store your food inside.

The interior of the cabin is newly refinished. The exterior will be improved as time goes by. Since the cabin and outhouse were moved to their private spot recently, there is not much grass yet.

This is a private wooded lot. Lakes, rivers and trails are nearby. For those looking for a quiet place, it is mainly a quiet area to listen to the sounds of nature. The cabin is set back but it is located on a main road in which people do travel. You may rarely hear gunshots at times as neighbors may be hunting on their land, etc. Please be considerate to our neighbors. Quiet time is between 10pm to 8am.
