Driftwood Dreams Escape | Island Lake Cabin

Welcome to Driftwood Dreams Escape, a woodsy lakefront oasis where you can enjoy
the true cabin experience and classic Minnesota lake life. This lakefront cabin with a private sandy beach is located on the well-known Island Lake chain. Create memories while utilizing the dock for fishing with family & friends or bring your own boat to enjoy some time on the water. This two bedroom cabin welcomes 4 guests, with a cozy lake-facing gathering room, kitchen, and a private yard to enjoy with family and friends.

Unwind while sitting with friends and family around the lakeside firepit enjoying the clear starry nights or relax in the property's hammocks while enjoying the view. Fire up the grill, paddle around with the available adult and child kayaks, or go for a walk on the country back roads. The main family room in the cabin has a sectional sofa and smart tv for you to curl up and enjoy a movie on a rainy day. Adjacent to the living area is the kitchen that has large windows overlooking the lake to soak in while sipping your morning coffee. Bedroom 1 features a log bunkbed with a full size and twin-size bed. Bedroom 2 has a queen-size bed. The small bedrooms add to the cozy ambience encouraging closeness with your travel companions. The lakefront patio area is ideal for
enjoying the afternoon sunsets while watching over loved ones as they enjoy the sandy beach and fishing off the end of the dock.

→ KITCHEN:
Our kitchen has all the basics for your cooking needs. A coffee maker, griddle, pots & pans, blender, toaster, and all the needed cooking and baking utensils. To get you started we set you up with a couple complimentary servings of coffee from Duluth Coffee Company. If you drink a lot of coffee, make sure to pick up some in Duluth on your way from one of the awesome local roasters... several to choose from.

→ BATHROOM
Our bathrooms have all the essentials. Toilet paper, bath towels, shampoo & conditioner, body wash, hand soap, make-up wipes, and a blow dryer.

→ ENTERTAINMENT:
There are smartTVs to connect your own hotspot to and enjoy Netflix with your own login credentials. This cabin does not have wifi/internet.

→ Island Lake is perfect for boating, paddle-boarding, swimming, and other water
activities.

→ Just minutes to Boulder Lake Environmental Learning Center for additional Hiking,
Mountain biking trails, rental gear, and great XC skiing in the winter.
→ Short drive to Drive-In Ice-cream/ snack stop, restaurants, and bait shop
→ 40 min drive to Downtown Duluth for Canal Park & the Iconic Lift Bridge

→ ACCESS
Accessing the house is super easy with the lockbox. Just use the unique code provided in your reservation instructions. Please note the drive to the cabin is on a windy and sometimes bumpy gravel road. [Given the remote nature of the property and that your code arrives an hour before check-in please screenshot or write down the wifi information from the digital guidebook before leaving Duluth].

There is ample parking in the driveway, capable of parking multiple vehicles as well as trailers for boats.
