Please be aware that the town continues to recover from damages caused by Hurricane Hellene but the Treehouse is now open and the perfect spot to stay and relax! Some spots in the village are NOW OPEN including Bubba O'Learys Gen Store and our fav, Riverwatch Bar and Grill! State park opened 6/27! More spots opening soon!

Chimney Rock Gemstone Mine and Stone Angel are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Chimney Rock Adventure Golf and Lake Lure Washburn Marina. Lake Lure Adventure Company and Justus Orchard are also worth visiting. Kayaking and power boating offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with hiking/biking trails and mountain climbing nearby.
