Ms. Dana, we appreciate your feedback and are sorry to hear that our guest suite did not meet your expectations. Our listing clearly states that this is a basement-level suite, and we make every effort to provide accurate descriptions and photos to ensure guests know what to expect before booking. The suite is finished and fully furnished, clean, and designed to be a comfortable and private space for our guests. While we understand personal preferences regarding basement accommodations, it is disappointing to receive a review that does not accurately reflect the quality of our space, especially given that you mentioned in person that you found it very nice. We take guest safety seriously, and all entry points are secure. We always encourage guests to reach out with any concerns during their stay so we can address them promptly. Mattresses were made available as an option to be used. The suite has three bedrooms and 4 actual beds and its own private bath. The sleeping accommodation is enough without using the mattress standing by the wall. Yes parking is on the street in the private upscale neighborhood. It can be referred in the picture gallery made available. The door is securely locked. I’m not sure what you are referring to. Dear Jennifer, Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a detailed review. I’m glad to hear that you found the home cozy and appreciated the beautiful marble floors, as well as the convenience of having three bathrooms—especially with your group of teenage hockey players! I truly value your suggestions and will absolutely take them into consideration to help make the stay even more seamless for future guests. Clearer signage for house rules and instructions is a great idea, and I’ll work on posting simple, visible guides throughout the home. Regarding recycling, it was mentioned in the check out instruction but it is also important to include it in the check in. So I will do that. Just to clarify for future guests: dishcloths are available and are hung on the drawer knobs throughout the kitchen, and small trash bags, along with cleaning supplies and bathroom detergents, are all stored under the sinks in each bathroom for your convenience. As far as utensils and plates I think it would be ideal to utilize the use-and-through for parties of bigger group. However, there were additional plates in the kitchen drawer. The ones on the counter are only for display. I also appreciate your feedback about the home’s condition and will make sure the bathroom issues are addressed promptly.
