Decent place to stay …nearby to local attractions and not too bad for day trips!
We had a good time staying for a week, wish it wasn’t that hot here but overall it was fun stay!
We appreciate the quick responses from the owner and he was very accommodating and helpful!
This is a cozy, comfortable older house---very clean, bright, roomy, and nicely furnished. Our group of 5 (my wife and I, teenage son and grown daughters) stayed here for most of a week. Kitchen is well-equiped and we enjoyed using the outdoor grill and hot tub. It was a great location from which to launch day trips to Pikes Peak, The Royale Gorge, Garden of the Gods, etc. The big TV and comfortable living room were nice for winding down after the day's adventures, and the front porch was ideal for those wanting a quiet place to read. The owner was extremely responsive and helpful when we had questions. We would definitely recommend this house.
This was a perfect location in terms of proximity to campus, hockey rink, and near enough to downtown. If you're a light sleeper, keep in mind there are student-rented homes nearby so occasional night time noise is to be expected. Communication with host was excellent; we had no problems whatsoever & would stay there again.
We absolutely had a wonderful stay in this aptly named charming house! The house had a lot of character and was very comfortable for our family of 5. It had everything you could think of and felt like you were staying at a family member’s house. You can tell the owners take great pride in the house by all the cute details throughout. They also were very responsive with any questions we had and you could tell that they really wanted us to be comfortable and enjoy our stay…which we 100% did!
