Family Fishing Getaway
The house and property are beautiful. The large open backyard right on the water was perfect for us. We enjoyed fishing from the bank. There are also several boat launches nearby. Jenny was extremely responsive and helpful. We would definitely go again.

The house and property are beautiful! We were a family of 8 adults and we fit comfortably. The kitchen is nice and large with plenty of space and amenities to cook for a group. It's quiet and the river wasn't too busy. Very relaxing. The owners were very communicative and helpful.

What makes this property unique
This beautiful one-of-a-kind home was built by Door County's Virge Temme Architecture with inspiration from 1940s fishing cottages; simple, iconic spaces, no-mow grasses and locally harvested rustic cedar siding.
The interior offers a dramatic modern interplay of forms and volumes with thoughtful built-in furnishings. Favorites spots include the intimate reading nook and a treehouse-like hideaway loft overlooking the living space below. The loft creates a perfect place for stargazing under four large skylights.
