Summary:
The extraordinary views from the huge corner windows in the living room and master bedroom will take your breath away. You can easily get lost in the view from these windows. Outside, enjoy your own picnic table by your own firepit. Recline on the movie worthy wide elegant steps leading down to the beach. Enjoy the water and watercraft provided. After a hard day of fun and enjoyment, slip into your very own hot tub. If you are looking for more, Plattsburgh is a short drive North along the lake.

The Space:

This 3 bedroom unit boasts both queen size and kings size beds. Each bedroom has its own AC and smart TV, sorry, my mistake... two of the 3 bedrooms have smart TVs. The third bedroom has a portable projection system and a pretty awesome/impressive portable speaker so you can watch whatever you want where ever you want!

If you are not lost in the view from the living room windows, you will see that the living room boasts a huge sectional sofa, one of those impressive CordAroy bean bag chairs, and a large smart TV.

The hot tub is to die for! Huge 8 person unit with water fall accent, lighting and those jets!!! wow :)

Feeding the masses will also be a snap with that personal large BBQ grill.

Guest Access:
The is a lock box at the front door and the code will be sent out a few days before your arrival.

The Neighborhood:
You can go and enjoy Ausable Chasm, Ausable Point State Park, kayaking off the shore or in the Ausable River, hike in the Adirondack Mountains, visit Rulf's Orchard for some homemade cider donuts, and more.

Other Things to Note:
The fireplace seem in the living room picture is non-functional and may not be used to have a fire.

Although we do not live on site, we are only a short 7 min drive away. Your stay with us is very important to us, and we value your privacy, but are near if you ever need anything. We will do our best to never intrude on you. If you need anything please let us know.

We like to greet guests whenever possible when they arrive, however, if this is not possible, as soon as I can touch base with you I am more than willing to give you a tour of your unit and explain about the amentities and other things ZaLo House has to offer. To get you started though, the house manual should explain all the essentials for your stay.

Wonderful spot on the lake . Beautiful views from a wonder house. Sitting on the deck in the morning during sunrise , sitting at the fire pit in the evening... paddling on the lake and our choc lab swam the whole time ... and when muscles sore from hiking in different parks on wonderful trails the hot tub was the best.... Jon is terrific ... always available if you need anything at all.... looking for spending another vacation there!!!!

Wonderful stay at Zalo House

We loved our stay at Zalo House. We had kids of different ages with us from 8-12 and they loved the swing set, movie subscriptions available and hunting for sea glass. There was something to keep everyone happy. Jon, the owner, made sure we were having a great stay, supplied us with wood for a fire and just did a great job overall.

Jon was extremely attentive from the onset of booking our stay. He stopped by to check and be sure all was okay and if we needed anything at all. Beds extremely comfortable-ac units upstairs worked so well-it was always frosty! We’d recommend this home as the location on the lake was ideal. Kayaks and paddle boat were available.

We booked our first stay at the ZaLo Manor with our Sons and Grandson's for the annual LCI fishing derby. Three Generations! We enjoyed ZaLo so much and created beautiful memories. I loved the view from the Primary Bedroom - as one of my Grandson's said, 'it's like we're on top of the world!" We can't wait to go back and next time, we will stay longer. The hosts and their families are exceptional! We Highly recommend staying at the ZaLo Manor!

The Perfect Spot for a Lake Champlain Escape

We stayed at ZaLo Manor for four nights and had an amazing experience from start to finish. The home was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed to feel right at home.During the day, we loved spending time by the lake—fishing, playing in the water, and taking the pedal boat out for a relaxing ride. In the evenings, we enjoyed soaking in the hot tub and sitting out on the porch, listening to the gentle sound of the waves on the shore.Our host, Jon, was incredibly welcoming and attentive. He made sure everything was perfect for our stay, and we truly appreciated his hospitality.ZaLo Manor is a peaceful and scenic getaway—I highly recommend it for anyone visiting Lake Champlain!

Gorgeous property with awesome views

What a wonderful mini vacation and family reunion we had. The host was one of a kind and extremely attentive. The house was simply perfect and the views on lake Champlain were stunning. Everything we needed was available. We throughly enjoyed our stay and we are planning another visit soon!

Quick Fall Stay at ZaLo Manor

Everything was great. The location and view were awesome. The house met all of our expectations. Hot tub was great on chilly nights. Hanging out on the porch and yard was so relaxing. We have never been in this area and are looking forward to coming back and staying here again. Jon was very friendly and helpful and it was fun meeting his children who gave us some artwork that they made to thank us for staying.

Mother/Daughter weekend

The house was amazing. Stayed the weekend to do college visits with my daughter. The house had everything we needed and more. The house was so clean, beds comfy and the hot tub was an amazing way to just relax and enjoy the beautiful views of lake Champlain. Kitchen was stocked great for any meals we made. Jon stopped by to check in and make sure we had everything we needed, his kids made pictures for my daughter and I- so thoughtful. Would love to come back in the warmer months to kayak and swim etc. Thanks Jon and Sergio- your place is amazing!

Our stay at the ZaLo Manor was terrific! It was a great place to call home while we visited relatives from Plattsburgh. The views were amazing from the deck, bedrooms & lawn.It had everything we needed. Made a family spaghetti dinner one night, beautiful cookware provided & lots of laughs with board games. The weather with wind & rain, did not allow us to use the anticipated paddle boat & kayaks or the fire pit near the dock but the hot tub & spaces inside, gave us that little extra fun on an inclement day!! The grown up kids were able to watch a movie on the wall from a projector in one the rooms! Our pets even had plenty of room to roam too.All the coffee pods & an abundance of towels were very much appreciated!! Spacious large upstairs bathroom was a nice surprise. Jon was SO quick to respond & provided a detailed binder with all information about the house & property. He went out of his way to be sure we were all comfortable & stopped by to welcome us, with his two adorable children…won’t spoil the rest but couldn’t have a nicer host & stay!It was a pleasure & hope our journey brings us back THANK YOUThe Lucas, Le Blanc & Arsenault Families,Buffalo, NY

Couldn’t have asked for more!

This is a beautiful property. Jon was extremely attentive and kind. The views of the lake are unmatched and our only problem was squeezing in all the fun. We grilled, kayaked, built fires, swam, cooked, enjoyed the hot tub, skipped stones, fished, played board games, watched music videos, went on the hot tub, and even rented a pontoon boat which was located 2 minutes away. We explored the island and hiked to a lighthouse. To top it off Jon’s two wonderful children drew me artwork that is located on my fridge. 10/10 and cannot recommend this enough!

Zalo Manor Bliss

We recently spent a few beautiful days at Zalo Manor Lakeside Home, and it was the perfect retreat on Lake Champlain. The property offered everything we needed to unwind and enjoy nature. We spent our days kayaking, swimming, and fishing from the dock, where we had lots of luck catching fish. The evenings were just as delightful, with BBQs on the grill, relaxing in the hot tub, and sitting around the fire pit, warming up on the cooler nights. One of the highlights was the peaceful ambiance of the lake, which provided a serene backdrop for our stay. We even spent a cozy night inside working on a puzzle, which added to the charm of the place. Zalo Manor is well-maintained, and the amenities made our stay both comfortable and enjoyable. We left feeling refreshed and grateful for the experience. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to relax and recharge by the water!

Champlain Fishing trip

The home and location were 10 stars across the board. The home was warm, clean and friendly. We booked this home because there was supposed to be a dock in the water making it easy to utilize the fishing boat we brought on our trip. Unfortunately, the dock was not in the water to our surprise The owner was very friendly and showed up a couple of times. Not that we minded meeting him, but as we were out fishing all night, long trying to sleep during the day was essential. Having an unexpected visit banging on the door and waking me out of an hour nap was not pleasant. Renting a house should be private experience and you should not have unexpected visits. But I will say the home was warm, friendly and everything was up to spec. If you can get by the unannounced visits, I would rate this a 10 x 10.Please don’t misunderstand me. This home was a wonderful place to be and has amazing views of the lake. I would recommend this to anyone. But advice to the owners, respect other people‘s privacy. Thank you very much for allowing us to utilize your beautiful home. we tried to leave it is neat and cozy as we found it. Cheers!!!!
