What a cute little place! Everything from the heat, hot water, hot tub, kitchen appliances - worked perfectly! The beds were super comfortable and overall cozy vibe and very clean. Can’t wait to stay again, the hot tub and fire were both perfect after a day of skiing.
It was a bit cold when we arrived, but by the time we were back from dinner it was warmed up and we settled in. We enjoyed the peace and quiet. Spent much needed alone time in the hot tub under the stars and the beautiful lights strung above the hot tub area. This was the perfect weekend getaway for my boyfriend and I

This was a lovely place that treated us well on our New England leaf peeping vacation. The kitchen was well stocked, the bed was comfortable, and lake was gorgeous!
Perfect retreat! Home is cozy and inviting. View is beautiful! Host is kind and responsive. You can tell that the host wants their home to feel like yours and for you to enjoy it as much as they do. Highly recommend!
The girlfriend and I stayed for the weekend, even though it was a rainy weekend we got a lot of hiking in and were able to cuddle up on the couch in front of the fire place. Also loved the hot tub to soothe our sore muscles. Highly recommend this place and the owners
My friends and I had a wonderful stay. We utilized the hot tub, boats, and grill during our stay. The owners were very responsive leading up to our stay and during it. Room heights are short in the bedrooms and bathroom - we are short so this wasn’t an issue for us but may be for those 6’ and up. Kitchen was well equipped with plates, pots, dishes, utensils, etc.
This rustic cabin was spacious clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the lake access and fishing was awesome. The hosts were responsive and quick to respond. We had a wonderful time.
Our family just loved our stay at Camp Pocomoonshine!! We had everything we needed for a perfect family getaway. We loved paddleboarding, kayaking and fishing and our evenings in the hot tub was the perfect end to each relaxing day.
Could not have asked for a better stay for our Honeymoon. Robin our host was very helpful and friendly. We hope to return to Camp Pocomoonshine in the future.
We loved having access to the lake and enjoyed time in the canoe. The home was perfect for our family of four. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub and the games provided at the house.
I stayed at Robin’s home for a long weekend away with friends and two dogs and it was great! It’s a charming little house right across from the lake with a hot tub and fire pit that we greatly enjoyed!
We had a spectacular time at the cabin. Perhaps due to the time of year, we had the lake to ourselves and enjoyed the amazing views and swimming. The hot tub and stars at night were wonderful. Robin was very communicative and the cabin was cozy and welcoming.
Enjoyed a wonderful two night stay in this peaceful cabin. Had fun fishing off the dock and cooking in the kitchen. We had everything we needed for an easy getaway.
This was the perfect get away. The view from the dock alone was breathtaking.
Super easy to find, it looks even better than the pictures. Such a cozy, welcoming cabin. Did not disappoint. The book with what to do near there was super helpful. 10/10 would recommend coming here.
Picturesque cabin far off the beaten path. Be prepared to drive 20 minutes to town/convenience. A great place to stay if you're specifically looking to visit the ausable chasm.
This cabin was everything we needed to recharge! It was clean, well stocked with essentials (and with nice stuff- organic hand soaps, new scotch sponge for dishes, even dryer balls in the dryer!). My family enjoyed playing games on the front porch, unwinding in the hot tub (which was very clean!) after hiking the Chasm, and evening kayaking and fishing on the lake! The house was the perfect size for our family of 4. Especially loved the collection of books and all of the antique decor. So cute!
Centrally located to all outdoor activities and towns we wanted to visit. Even though it rain quite a bit, it didn't put a damper on our trip. We just scheduled around the weather.
This place was located very close to Plattsburgh where my friend and I went antique shopping and thrifting. Then we visiter Burlington which is vlose by via ferry. The cottage was quaint, charming and near the water. The place ws very clean and had plenty of room. The the kitchen had everything we need and a large dinning table. The porch also was a great feature as well. We really enjoyed oir stay and i am so glad I found this place online.
This was our second time at camp pocomoonshine for a girls trip we enjoyed the lake during the day we brought our paddle boards and cruised around the lake and evenings on the enclosed porch watching the sun go down also the record player was a hit and of course the hot tub to end the evening would definitely stay again we may try and make it an annual trip
We had a really nice family time. The great room is so perfect for gift opening on christmas morning. Everything felt warm and cozy. Very quiet place, nice views. Exactly what we wanted and expected from the pictures. Thank you! :)
Perfect cabin by beautiful lake. Hosts were wonderful- they put the dock out for us so we could see the eclipse. The only negative is that they are across a road from the water.

About the host
Hosted by Robin Lyle
My husband and I are parents to three 16 year old kids. Yes - triplets! We love to travel and love all outdoor activities. When we’re traveling we always opt for vacation homes instead of hotels. Hotels are just too sterile and we prefer to have that home-away-from-home feel! We love the Lake Champlain area and that is why we decided to buy a 2nd home here and share it with others looking for a great get-away!
Why they chose this property
This property is nestled in the woods with some awesome lake and Mountain Views. Even better - it has lake access to a private lake that is known for its fishing. The lake is great for swimming, canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, ice-fishing, snow shoeing, and X-country skiing. So much!
We are centrally located to some great day trips like Burlington, VT, Lake Placid, White Face Mountain and many High Peak hikes.
What makes this property unique
Lake access, hot tub, washer/dryer, dishwasher - not all homes can give you all four of these amenities!
