Jolly Heart cottage is a rare and very private updated cottage in Carmel-by-the-Sea, less than 2 blocks walk to town for art galleries, restaurants, and wine tasting rooms. This quintessential Carmel cottage offers a light, bright and airy feel that will make guests feel instantly relaxed. The private enchanted garden/backyard has a stream that runs through it. With 2 queen beds and one small convertible twin sofa bed, it's perfect for a small group or family. The cottage is updated with fresh paint, new flooring and modern lighting. It has high ceilings. With 2 bathrooms, there's no need to wait in line for a shower. Prefer to rent monthly or by the week.

A Lovely Stay
We went for the week between Christmas and New Year’s, and it was just the thing. The property was the perfect place to decompress. Walkable to town, beach, and a terrific selection of restaurants. Perfect!

I cannot recommend this charming, well equipped, peaceful cottage enough. From the easy availability of the warm and friendly host, to the fairy tale backyard, our stay was tranquil, easy and care free. Close to town yet just far enough (one forest filled block) from the easy walk into town, everything was at our doorstep. Falling in love with Carmel was a given - staying at this lovely home stocked with everything we needed and a very kind and accommodating host means I’ll be back as often as time allows.
