Beautiful designer ground floor apartment with leisure complex pool, gym & sauna

Highly desirable, 2 bedroom ground floor apartment with extra-large terrace. Air conditioning. Large fully fitted kitchen. Luxury bathrooms. Satellite TV and DVD. The fitness complex offers indoor heated pool, gym, sauna and Turkish bath and more. Close to shops, restaurants, beaches, golf courses and water parks. Beautifully furnished throughout, it’s fully air-conditioned and has everything you could wish for that perfect holiday.
PLEASE NOTE: The pool is being remodelled at the moment and will be closed until Apil 2026. All other ameneties are unaffected.
There’s a spacious living/dining area, a ‘dream’ kitchen with fully fitted Bosch appliances, bedrooms with top quality beds (one with a visco-elastic mattress for troublesome backs!) and stylish bathrooms with underfloor heating – a real treat. Outside, there is a lovely large dining terrace and garden area where you can relax and enjoy the famous Algarve sunshine. The apartment’s special features include a surround sound system, a flat-screen TV and DVD player for those ‘chill out’ moments and fast fibre broadband for connectivity. A small safe is also fitted.

Our village: Guia has all the shops you could want within easy walking distance. Supermarket, baker, newsagent (UK), bank, medical centre, chemist, hairdresser, post office, cafes and bars etc. Entertainment: for those who don’t want to sun worship or golf for their entire holiday, there are several attractions nearby to entertain the whole family. Zoo marine with its dolphin and parrot shows is perfect for children, while water parks Slide and Splash, Aquatic and the Big One are within very easy driving distance too.
Eating: Guia boasts over 25 restaurants – from the simple but succulent to high class continental cuisine, there is something to suit everyone. Food lovers will enjoy the popular local dish chicken piri piri at The Palladium restaurant where the family will welcome you as if you’re part of the family. Or if it’s a special occasion you’re celebrating, enjoy lunch or dinner at a 2 rosette Michelin starred restaurant.

Within the leisure centre: There is not only a heated swimming pool and recreational area which is all air-conditioned, but also a well equipped gym, games room with pool table, darts and table tennis, a sauna and steam room. There are shower and toilet facilities. The roof terrace has a large sun area and a separate and very pretty decked garden section. (Please note that the condominium committee ask for a one-off 20 euro contribution to maintenance costs for use of the gym or steam/saunas. The pool and all other areas do however have full free access).
Praia de Gale is less than 10 minutes by car and offers restaurants overlooking the sea serving mouth-watering fresh fish, miles of lovely sandy beaches with hidden coves and stunning views, together with water sports in season.

The Algarve is a popular destination for golfers and Guia is central to them all - the whole region offers around 25 to choose from and more are planned! The closest is Salgados, located on the flat lands behind the beach at Gale (under 10 mins by car). The 18-hole Par 72 course also has a driving range and putting green, pro shop, restaurant and bar. Our apartment folder details them all.

Excellent Property

The apartment is superbly equipped with everything you would need for a holiday. It is a short walk to the village with it's many restaurants and bars and only a short drive to Albufeira. The patio area is great for relaxing and catching up reading. Would highly recommend and we will certainly be returning on our next holiday to Portugal.

Guia is quaint and close to everywhere

We stayed in this condo for a month. April. Close to everything. Good restaurants in the town plus many within 20min. Condo was clean and great condition. Hosts were eesponsive and great. We stayed a months and travelled up and down the coast. Everything was close.

a lovely place in a quiet little town

The property is amazing, big covered patio, very well equipped, a lot of little extras. The weekly housekeeper for our one month stay was a bonus for sure. A very quiet location but only a short walk to small restaurants and stores. We did not rent a car, we bussed and Ubered it everywhere. Excellent bus service into Albuferia, the mall and other towns up and down the coast.

Wonderful stay

A beautiful clean appointment with everything you could need. Was also left little extras (milk, bread, wine etc) which was a very nice touch. Great communication with the owner too. Its in a nice quiet area with a couple of restaurants near by. Only 5/6 euro for an Uber to the old town in Albufeira and the beach. I came with friends for a girly holiday. Will defo return with my husband and family.

Superb Apartment *****

We were looking for an apartment for a golfing trip and didn't want to be in the middle of tourist areas. Guia is a lovely small town with all the amenities you will need. The communication with Nigel (owner) was first class and he responded almost immediately when asked questions. The apartment was spotless and even better than advertised. It was literally a home from home, just with much better weather and suitably located to reach many of the Algarve's best golf courses.

One week vacation

Lovely apartment recommend local 5 minute walk to guia village 10 minute drive to shopping mall , everything you need for a very pleasant stay in the apartment. The pool is small but ok the sauna/ gym are extra at 30 euro . We didn't use on this vacation as we spent our days with family and friend close by and there for a wedding .Quiet complex parking excellent and safe under ground I give it 10 out of 10 two bedroom one shower room and one bath/shower room .greats all green

Good Access to the Algarve

Guia is a small town just a few minutes from Albufeira and the gorgeous Gale beaches. We used it as our center to explore the Algarve, which was easy with Google maps… Portuguese roads are very manageable if you’re ok with all the roundabouts. During our 3 weeks at Nigel’s we visited Sagres, Lagos, Monchique, OLHÃO, Alcoutim, and many places in between. The apartment is very clean plus they have a woman clean weekly for long term stays. The decor was not to our liking and the LR couches have covers to hide the wear, but the kitchen has prime Bosch refrigerator , dw, washing machine and dryer. The patio is large, private, and lovely, and Nigel could not have been kinder, more responsive, or more helpful, and there are many good restaurants and even a bakery extremely close by.

Arrived on Sun 11 Sept for 2 weeks, brilliant apartment. As previously said, very clean bright & modern. Kitchen had all the amenities you could need. Terrace had the sun all afternoon. We have already booked to return in June 2012. Can't wait. Ground floor apartment so ideal for the less mobile. (No Stairs). Weather was excellent, needed the Air con as it was hitting 33 degs. Location is good for sightseeing as you are quite central on the Algarve, which means getting out & about doesn't involve long car journeys. (Car is recommended).

Schöner Urlaub August 2024 in Guia

Wir habe unseren Aufenthalt in Guia bei Nigel sehr genossen. Die Wohnung war sehr groß und super gepflegt. Der Ort ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt, wenn ein Mietwagen vorhanden ist, für alle Strände im Süden der Algarve sowie auch um in einer Stunde in den Bergen zu sein. Der Kontakt war sehr freundlich und alle Daten rund um die Wohnung standen uns pünktlich zur Verfügung. Alles in allem würden wir die Wohnung zu 100% weiterempfehlen.

Great Location and a Perfect Stay in a Wonderful Apartment

We enjoyed a wonderful week at Nigel's place. The location was perfect for us. For us, it was a perfect base for exploring the Algarve. We loved the village of Guia, and the cute cafés and restaurants all within short walking distance. And it was a short drive to both the beautiful Galé beach, and into Albufeira city centre. Great communication with Nigel helped us get settled-in. There was a thorough set instructions and advice, and excellent recommendations for restaurants throughout the region. The apartment was very clean, spacious, and well-equipped. There is a nice terrace and garden, great for relaxing on a sunny afternoon. The bed was comfortable, and the kitchen was very well-equipped. Everything worked well: a/c, Wi-Fi, Netflix, etc. The security system was very good and easy to use. Parking was easy and convenient, and check-in/out was quick and easy. All-in-all, an excellent stay! I highly recommend, and will certainly return!

Fantastic Apartment in Guia

This is the best apartment we have stayed in with everything you could want and more. Very smooth transaction with both the agent and owner who was quick to respond to any query. The outdoor patio and garden were an added bonus. Will certainly return.

A very nice apartment in a lovely complex.

The apartment is in a lovely complex where we have stayed in the past. It was clean and well equipped and well looked after, as this is a round floor apartment it has a garden to enjoy again well looked after. There is a small communal pool that's heated ( the Samsung fob with the keys gets you in ). The owner is really nice and kept in contact at all times. Look forward to staying again.

Great Apartment in a Great Location

Nigel & Rosie have a great comfotprtable apartment with excellent furnishings and everything you need to enjoy a good holiday. The property is very clean and well maintained. Security is fantastic and very reassuring. Secure underground parking if required. The recently reconstructed garden and terrace enjoys the sun for the whole of the afternoon and is ideal if you just want to chill. There is also access to a heated Indoor Swimming Pool and Games Room on the complex. Guia is a great central location with a number of good quality restaurants and cafés. Guia Football Club is great for a light lunch or an evening meal. The N125 and the Motorway are within easy reach for visits to resorts along The Algarve and Zoo Marine is a short journey and a good day out. For the shopper, the Algarve Shopping Complex is within easy reach and if you are feeling energetic it is within walking distance.I would definitely recommend this apartment and will be booking again in the future.
