Welcome to 44 Caddisfly Court, nestled on the banks of the French Broad River!  Tucked directly behind Headwaters Outfitters, in Rosman, NC, this charming retreat offers the ideal escape for fishing enthusiasts and nature lovers alike.  Upon arrival to Caddisfly Court, unit 44 is the third of 3 cabins and has dedicated parking for 1 vehicle.

Step inside and discover a simple one room cabin with modern finishes and everything you need for a comfortable adventure.  A queen-sized bed accommodates 1 or 2 guests.  A mini fridge, single induction burner for cooking, basic pots and pans, lightweight dishes, and Keurig allow for light meal preparation inside the cabin.  A smart TV is provided for guests to utilize their own streaming accounts, but with the river outside you probably won't want to turn it on!  The covered porch overlooking the river is an ideal spot to sip morning coffee, enjoy the sights and sounds of the river, or soak in the private hot tub.

For fishing enthusiasts, the French Broad River is just steps away.  You can even book guided fishing trips with Headwaters Outfitters!  Beyond fishing, the surrounding area is known for hiking, mountain biking, and many other ways to enjoy the great outdoors.  Return to the cabin in the evening and utilize the community grill to prepare your evening meal or gather around the riverside fire pit to toast marshmallows.

Whether you are seeking solitude, quality time on the water, or the thrill of reeling in a big one, 44 Caddisfly Court is sure to provide lasting memories on the banks of the French Broad River.

Perfect little getaway spot! Close to our favorite Headwaters Outfitters and Forks of the River Taproom. Great spot to count the stars while relaxing in the hot tub. We’ll be back!

There were some issues

When we arrived Wednesday evening, the cabin was like an icebox. The heater/ac took a long time to get to the point that it was bearable. The blinds out to the deck had several panels missing and we texted the office and they were replaced the next day. The toilet appeared to be leaking around the seal which we reported. We also noticed there were no clothes hooks anywhere. We told the service man that came to repair the blinds about the toilet and requested clothes hooks. He said he would report it to management and didn't hear anything about it. The bathroom had switches on the wall that called out a vent fan and heater, neither of which worked. As a result, the condensation from showering caused it to literally rain from the ceiling. This is a very small cabin. Normally, that would not be an issue. But as there was no way to hang clothes, it was either stack them on the floor or hang them in our truck and get what we needed each morning. The location was great. It was quiet and peaceful. But I don't believe we will stay here again.
