The Space:

Step back in time and experience the architectural legacy of our home, originally designed in 1959 by Yehuda Lavie, a student of Lloyd Wright. The serene Japanese garden, meticulously crafted by Lew Watanabe, invites tranquility. Inside, the primary bedroom offers a king-size bed with premium bedding. Additional bedrooms include a king-size bed, a queen-size bed, a twin bed with a trundle and a baby crib, and an office with a queen-size pull-out sofa. The living spaces are designed for comfort and entertainment: a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room with seating for 10, and a living room bathed in sunlight with views of the Japanese garden. A converted garage serves as a family room, complete with a 65-inch TV and an air hockey table. Outside, enjoy the unheated pool, hot tub, outdoor dining, a BBQ area with both charcoal and gas grills, and a mini gym.



Guest Access:

Guests will have access to the entire property, including all bedrooms, bathrooms, and living spaces. The driveway provides plenty of parking. Enjoy the large pool, hot tub, and outdoor dining and kitchen areas. Inside, make use of the mini gym, turntable, ping pong table, air hockey table, and movie room.



The Neighborhood:

Nestled in the heart of Sherman Oaks, our home offers a prime location in the family-friendly Royal Woods neighborhood. You're just a stone's throw from the vibrant Ventura Boulevard, brimming with diverse dining options, unique shops, and lively entertainment venues. For shopping enthusiasts, the Westfield Fashion Square Mall is conveniently close. Explore the natural beauty of Van Nuys-Sherman Oaks Park or enjoy easy access to cultural attractions like The Skirball Cultural Center and the Getty Museum. With easy freeway access, you're a short drive from the beaches of Malibu, the Santa Monica Pier, Universal Studios Hollywood, and the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Sherman Oaks is known for its safety, excellent schools, and welcoming community, making it a perfect base for a relaxing and connected stay.



Other Things to Note:

Please note the following to ensure a pleasant stay: Check-in is at 4:00 PM, and check-out is at 11:00 AM. Early check-in and late check-out may be available with prior approval and may incur additional fees. Our home is equipped with PAYA luxury products and Egyptian cotton towels in the bathrooms. For entertainment, enjoy the turntable, ping pong table, air hockey table, and a movie room with a 65-inch Roku TV. A mini gym is also available. The house features homemade ceramic works available for purchase. For security, there is a security camera covering the front of the house. No cameras are inside the house or in the yard. Parties or gatherings exceeding 8 people are not allowed. Small dogs are welcome, with an additional pet fee. The pool is not heated.
