Check-out instructions

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and return the keys
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Please remove your shoes indoors. No smoking indoors or on the porch.
Lake Winola is a small, quiet community, so if you are looking to hoot and holler past 10pm, this might not be the house for you.
And lastly, swim at your own risk. We have some life preservers on site, but maybe not every size to fit each child and adult.

The home, property, and host were excellent. The house was very comfortable and easily meet the needs of my family and I. We especially loved the lake front aspect. There is a wonderful yard and dock to enjoy all the lake has to offer. My family and I would highly recommend this property. We would also love to return.

Cozy Lake Winola Cottage

It was a visit down memory lane 50 years later, having spent childhood summers growing up at Lake Winola! Did a little fishing and relaxing... nieghbors were very nice, sharing family connections and memories from years ago. We went on a walk and met up with a childhood fishing buddy, and then spent a wonderful Saturday afternoon with my aunt and her grandson who were up for the weekend!

I am happily retired and married for almost 45 years. I have been hosting family and friends just about my entire married life. I love sewing and crafting.

Why they chose this property

Lake Winola is a beautiful lake community. Not too big and not to small. It’s just right!

What makes this property unique

Our cottage is a throw back from the start of lake living. A symbol of what cottages looked like in the beginning. It’s nostalgic with modern amenities.
