Welcome to Selah Cove —a peaceful newly-built retreat that invites you to slow down, take in the natural beauty around you, and reconnect with what truly matters. Whether you're savoring the quiet serenity of the lake at dawn or gathering with friends and family for an evening under the stars, our cottage offers an idyllic setting for creating memories that will last a lifetime.
Nestled among towering pines and perched on boulders shaped by glaciers, Selah provides stunning, floor-to-ceiling views of the water from nearly every room. The open-concept floor plan is ideal for large family gatherings, and the spacious deck, with its sliding glass doors, extends your living space outdoors—perfect for grilling, dining, or just enjoying the fresh air.
The kitchen is equipped with new appliances, a coffee station, and an island that has seating for two. The cozy living room has a flat screen television, and looks out onto the view of Washerwoman’s Bay.
The master bedroom is on the main floor with a california-king-sized bed, walk-in shower, and a full view of the lake. Upstairs, you will find two bedrooms, a full bath, and a loft area. The first bedroom has two twin beds. The second bedroom is outfitted with a queen bed. The loft is the perfect place for reading a good book, or playing games. The fourth bedroom can be found in the basement with a lake view.
For fun and relaxation, head downstairs to the basement where you’ll find a ping pong table, smart TV, dart board, and living space. When you're ready to enjoy the outdoors, step out onto the covered patio, a peaceful spot for unwinding no matter the weather. The Adirondack chairs by the firepit offer the perfect place to relax by the lake, and the dock invites you to explore Trout Lake by canoe, kayak, or paddleboard. The water is shallow right at the waters edge but does get deep by the end of the dock. The dock (from the shoreline) is 32 feet long. It gradually goes from zero to about 6 feet deep at the end of the dock. When we have small children with us, we do play at the waters edge but keep them in a PFD for safety. The water is very clear and the bottom is mostly round pebbles near the edge with larger rocks. Fishing is also a popular activity here, with clear waters teeming with fish, so be sure to grab a pole!
At Selah, we believe in the power of pause. The name "Selah" comes from the Hebrew tradition, where it calls for a moment of reflection—an invitation to breathe, listen, and be present. Whether you’re retreating for some personal reflection or enjoying the company of loved ones, we hope your time here offers the space to do just that.
Come, take a break, and let the beauty of the lake, the forest, and the stars rejuvenate your spirit.

The house and property are beautiful! The lake is clean and perfect for kayaking and paddle boarding. The host was wonderful and the house was fully stocked. I highly recommend this place!
This house is beautiful and our stay was magical! The weather cooperated and we were even able to take the kayaks out. If you are looking to relax and unwind you must consider staying here. The kitchen had everything you could need (including all of the spices) and you can get Instacart delivery for groceries. The host was very responsive and we would definitely stay here again!
The house is recently built and well stocked with high quality items. The kitchen, dining, living, and deck areas are outstanding. We really enjoyed the watercraft and ping pong table. Would definitely rent again.
We had a spectacular stay at this lake house! The home was pristine, the kitchen was gorgeous, and the ping pong table made for some fun family battles. The lake was stunning, and we loved having kayaks, paddle boards, and life vests ready to use. Everything was effortless and so enjoyable. We definitely plan on returning!
Beautiful new home at the quiet end of a stunning lake. The owners seem to have thought of everything while building the house, and did the same with the amenities that make your vacation more relaxing. Super responsive and accomodating hosts. Highly recommend!

Holly was amazing from start to finish with communication including sending me information on meteor showers that took place two nights.A lovely new home with beautiful amenities that just make this day one that you don’t want to end
Wonderful week in a beautiful house. Clean and airy. It felt like we were the first renters. Strong air conditioning. Fully equipped kitchen. Comfortable furniture. Great views of the lake from any first and second floor room, as well as a large open deck, and a covered porch below, helpful when it reached 90 degrees! Plenty of outdoor activities, with kayaks, paddleboards, canoe, and a warm but refreshing clean lake. Enough indoors too, with ping-pong, darts, and board games. Firepit and plenty of wood made for few nights with smores, and starfilled sky. Quiet, only interrupted by loon calls at night. No need to ever leave, but we did go to the Thousand Islands on a rainy day. Very helpful hosts, responding quickly to questions. Would highly recommend, and will look to return there in the future.
Perfect Family Getaway! This home was perfect for a quick getaway with family and friends. As we walked through the front door, we were stunned by the panoramic views of the lake. The main floor had plenty of room for relaxing and enjoying the time together. The kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed to cook and bake. All appliances and cookware are brand new and high quality. The coffee bar was one of our favorite ways to start the morning! We were able to enjoy an evening out at the campfire and the outdoor campfire blankets were a cozy added touch! The night sky was so clear and we fell asleep looking at the stars through the windows of the primary bedroom. The kids were able to play pingpong, watch TV, and play games in the basement while the adults were able to enjoy time together on the main level. The kids enjoyed the loft area as well and the adults enjoyed a trip down memory lane with some 80s records on the record player. The hosts, Holly and Brad, were very responsive with our questions before we booked. We definitely plan to book a stay in the summer and/or the fall!
