Welcome to your secluded lake-front getaway in the woods! Standing Stone Camp overlooks a private lake in St. Lawrence County and is ready for you and your family (dogs welcome). We can't wait for you to experience the tranquility!
We can host groups of up to 10 people. Contact us if you have a larger group, we may be able to accommodate with a neighboring camp! Reach out for information!
On the first floor, the camp has an open-concept living and dining area, 2 bedrooms, a kitchen, a full bathroom, and 3 season porch. The dining table seats 4 and has inserts that extend its capacity up to 8. More tables and chairs in the porch. The kitchen includes an electric stove, refrigerator, and all of the must-have appliances (microwave, blender, toaster, coffee maker, and electric kettle).
There are 2 bedrooms on the first floor (queen and full beds). The loft upstairs has 2 full beds and 2 twin beds. We are fully stocked with linens, towels, blankets, etc.
No bad views from the enclosed porch! Nestled in the pines, you won’t get bored of the chipmunks, herons, woodpeckers, and other creatures that call the lake home.
During your stay, you will have access to the entire house, use of the yard, the grill, the fire pit, 2 kayaks, a canoe, paddle boat and standup paddle board. Plenty of life vests to go around. We have bocce and cornhole!
The water to the camp is supplied by an underground well and is perfectly safe to drink and shower with. However, the water has noticeable iron, so most people prefer to bring their own bottled water. The water is filtered once coming into the house and we have a Britta filter onsite for additional filtration.

Hi - I'm Kelly. I grew up in Syracuse and currently live in the Finger Lakes region of NY. I enjoy travelling, bikepacking, seeing new sights and rescuing animals. When I'm travelling, I love the little touches that make my stay feel like home and I love offering that to others looking to have a different travel experience.
Why they chose this property
When we pictured our getaway in the woods, we pictured the serene quiet of a private lake, towering, fragrant pine trees, and mountains. When we saw Standing Stone Camp, we recognized it instantly from our daydreams. We are so happy to share this magical, peaceful place with you.
What makes this property unique
The property is surrounded by huge boulders and sits up high on the lake. With the trees, you have a very private experience on the lake. We love being able to see the sunsets from our dock and by the fire pit every night. A little slice of heaven on earth.
