Unbelievable location, close not only to the slopes but within easy walking distance of a very nice little town with a lot to offer. Host was incredibly responsive, friendly, and helpful. The house is as beautiful as the pictures make it out to be, very crisp and clean bedding, we couldn’t stop talking about how NICE everything was. Would love to return one day!
We had a wonderful stay while in Waitsfield. The place was clean, spacious, and well appointed. Everything lived up to or exceeded expectations based on the property description. Our host was super responsive, and the materials in the house. We’re very clear and easy to understand. We will certainly return in the future.
All of it. Very welcoming. We stayed 2 years ago at Thanksgiving. We just love this house. It’s perfect for our family. The only thing I would mention is that the foyer was not clean when we arrived.
The home was even nicer than the pictures! Absolutely spotless, very charming with many personal touches done by an obviously caring host. Great location, walkable little village, close to coffee shop, grocery store and quaint restaurants. 10/10
Ample space for our two families and sooooo close to so many amazing restaurants, breweries and ski mountains!!

Hello Emily! I am thrilled that you enjoyed your stay! The close proximity to Lawson's Taproom and local shops and restaurants makes it ideal! You can walk to most places utilizing the walking paths. Cheers!
Spacious and comfortable home in the heart of Waitsfield for a family gathering. Nice to have plenty of room for multiple cars. Kitchen is well-stocked for cooking. The property manager, Shari, is especially responsive and helpful. Thank you for making our stay so welcoming!
The property and furnishings/contents are wonderful. Enjoyed every minute of our stay. The location couldn't have been better. We were attending a family wedding and getting to just about everything was so convenient. Great hiking options are just a short drive away, and we appreciated all the great information the host/hostess provides for. I will note that because the house is a historical home (I have to believe), there is somewhat of an antique smell when you first arrive, but once you're in the door and settled you don't even continue to notice.
We had an incredible stay at this property! The location was unbeatable—close to everything we needed and perfect for exploring the area. The kitchen was a standout feature, stocked with all the cooking supplies we could ask for, making meal preparation a breeze. The space was also very roomy, with plenty of room for our group to spread out and relax. Clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, this property truly exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a perfect getaway!
Great place all around. Short drive to Sugarbush and Mad River. Big roomy house. Lots of bathrooms. Close proximity to restaurants, breweries and grocery stores. Perfect ski house for a big group. We had 8 and there was room for more!
This house was charming, well equipped, comfortable and everything we hoped for in an accommodation for our Christmas vacation. The house was exactly what we needed for our multi-generational stay over the week of Christmas. We traveled with with elderly(80 year old) grandparents, middle aged adults, and children (8, 10). There are three spacious bedrooms on the first (main) floor, including two with ensuite bathrooms. Upstairs, there are another two bedrooms and an additional bathroom. There are three steps to get from the driveway into the mud room and the rest of the house. Otherwise, the first floor is a single level and step free. We enjoyed the multiple eating and gathering areas, cozy fireplace and big screen, streaming-enabled TV.The location was perfect. It is walking distance to several dining, grocery, and adult beverage options. It was a great base for us to visit family in the area, as well as ski at sugarbush, and take in some of the other local attractions. The house is well equipped, and had everything we needed for cooking meals, plenty of storage, washer/dryer, etc. We enjoyed extras provided by the host, to include some local syrup and snacks. Mother nature also provided snow on most days. Accumulating nearly 10" during our stay. That was the proverbial icing on the cake. Can't say enough about this house, friendly and responsive host, and our enjoyable use of it.
I am a "flatlander" from Pennsylvania. We relocated here in 2013. I live here with my husband and my daughter. It only took one visit to this area for us to decide we needed to be here year round. The mountain views are breathtaking and there are endless outdoor activities year round. I have worked in Hospitality for more than 30 years and I love meeting and interacting with new people.
