Graduation weekend

We stayed here for graduation weekend! Great location, walkable to downtown and campus. Very clean and perfect for the occasion. A couple recommendations for the accommodations-a lamp for the bedside tables, a full length mirror somewhere in the house, a couple more chairs in the living area for sitting, a couch that wasn’t so low to the ground and a couple chairs on the front porch to enjoy outdoors when nice. But would definitely stay here again when we are in town!

Overall: Great stay! Accurate listing for the most.Pro-New: Clean. Spacious. Location.Con: Smoke detector in the bedroom was not installed, sitting in closet. No vent register in the bathroom - just a hole. No shampoo, as listed. Would be helpful: Add a written instructions for visitors, with check-out info and local suggestions. Offer plain coffee pods-lots of choices, thanks, but no regular. Nothing on walls-stark. Consider changing "Charming 3 bedroom" to "Spacious 3 bedroom." Minor things--enjoyed our stay!

Depressing experience

New 6-plex w/o on-street parking.Pictured unit was not ours it.The furnishings were minimal,cheap. It’s as though someone bought a new house and then couldn’t afford to furnish it so did the bare minimum.One ever lived here.No pictures,color,or attempts at comfort.Interior was cold,barrren,uncomfortable and tomb-like.So empty it echoed.Garbage disposal side kitchen sink filthy.smelly.Left wet dishes in dishwasher. Clean?Dirty?Bedrooms furnished with bed and one tiny bedside table.Suitcases had to open on the floor.No dresser or even wastebasket in bedrooms. One sofa in the living room w/o other comfortable seating.Nice TV but couldn’t find the controller for two days.Owner/manager was unhelpful and suggested he would refund half the $ and we could stay in a hotel where we would be “more comfortable”.We picked VBRO because we wanted some of the comforts of home, not ours of course but another’s.There were smoke/CO detectors up and down stairs but also wiring for smoke/CO detectors in the bedrooms which was not connected.I could go on.Nothing “charming” about this place
