Cabin has 2 full bathrooms one downstairs and one upstairs. Guest will feel wonderfully relaxed during their stay. Whether you're exploring the outdoors or cozying up indoors, our cabin is an excellent choice for your getaway. We think our place will help you experience everything Montebello has to offer. Besides being remote our guest enjoy only one cabin on the property with acres of open manicured fields to enjoy. A large stone fire pit for night time fires and 3 covered porches and large deck. Your host is a Certified Executive of 45+ years experience. We set ourselves apart by offering a personal chef for those looking for unique farm to table meals for any meal period, Chef Tables created specifically for you. Hors d’ oeuvres, Charcuterie boards and Box Lunches for your hikes around our mountain or hanging by the fire. Enjoy a variety of local wines while lounging on the porches rocking your worries away . Don’t wait come on rest your feet a while.

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Please remove all trash and discard at nearby trash collection area. Do not put any trash outside during and after your stay because of attracting wildlife.
Do not strip beds. Collect all bath linens and place in tubs.
Turn off all lights, check all appliances to insure nothing is still on after use, lock the doors and leave key on the desk at the exit door.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
No smoking inside. You will be charged a fee if we determine smoking was done inside.
Pets: No pets on furniture. No exceptions. You will be charged a fee if pets have been on the furniture/beds. Don’t leave them alone uncrated.

We really enjoyed our respite here at the cabin. We loved the fire, cozy vibes, and beautiful grounds. Our dogs loved playing in the creek, and we spent our last night grilling on the back porch. Host was always available, accessible, and easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay again.

Lisa and Jennifer along with their three children and three dogs were great guest. The whole family was a pleasure to host. Why they chose this property

I’ve been coming to this area since childhood from Norfolk, Va. with Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts camping near Crabtree Falls. Growing up on the Chesapeake Bay we always wanted to go to the mountains and as an adult I purchased land here so I enjoy both the mountains and beach still today. The area offers the beauty of flora & fauna solitude, fresh air and beautiful night skies. The sounds of the rambling mountain streams, warm summer breeze and crisp winter nights next to a cozy wood fire. This is just a few reasons I choose this area.

What makes this property unique

The cabin property is very unique geographically located at the pinnacle of Whetstone Ridge in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Guest will enjoy the property solely without sharing the property with other guest. It’s remote and secluded with an abundance of nature and woodlands. The cabin is quaint, cozy and comfortable offer all the comforts of home. We offer amenities that other rentals do not offer. One that is very unique is our culinary creations prepared by Certified Executive Chef Richard Christy your host. Onsite is the working studio of Buck Island Bay Decoys. Hand carved waterfowl decoys, hand hewn dough bowls, Appalachian white oak baskets and functional kitchen treenware. We also offer classes at Rock-n- Creek Cabin like basket classes, carving, cooking and foraging. We pride ourselves in being unique and offering our guest experiences that other properties do not offer. We’re not just a cabin we’re an experience and destination. Come see for yourselves.
