Great Place to stay

Really enjoyed our stay here. Bedrooms were nice size - the bathrooms were great - very nice walkin shower in the Primary bathroom. A very thorough guest info book. We had two small dogs and the doggy door was very convenient. Couches in the living room were very comfortable - we would definitely stay here again.

Weekend Getaway with music, wine, family & friends

The communication between ourselves and the host was impeccable, and their response was virtually immediate. The little house was quaint and well stocked with everything from dishes, pots and pans and spices, and other amenities very quiet neighborhood with the exception of the neighbors dogs yapping otherwise very quiet the rooms were very comfortable And accommodating and enjoyed the morning dip in the spa. We would definitely consider staying at Casa de Trigo again.

Clean updated home in Paso

Had a wonderful time at Casa del Trigo. This home was well appointed and looked like it was recently remodeled. Comfortable beds and updated bathrooms made the stay comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed and the recommendations and house instructions were clear and. A backyard BBQ and spa were nice added touches. Only downside were some noisy dogs in a neighboring house that were very vocal! Loved the location and this home and would definitely choose this place again. Definitely be back!

From our recent 3 night stay in Dec 2025The good:- Booking and check in was very easy with clear instructions and communication from the owner.- House was well appointed, clean and very comfortable- Location is excellent, a short drive to town and well situated for visiting the myriad of local wineries.The bad:- The property adjoining the rear of this one has a number of small dogs that were left outside and barked incessantly. Night; day; whenever the back door was opened; any time our 2 small (and silent) dogs went outside; any time we made any noise they would bark.- The dogs basically made the backyard (inc hot tub and tables) unusable.We did contact the owner after the first day who offered to contact the non emergency number if it continued. By chance the next day they were quieter but then picked back up again on day 3.So, a bit of a shame overall as everything apart from those dogs was great.

My happy place is traveling between California, Hawaii, Colorado and Texas. I like to think I am sharing part of my life with my quests. Much love has gone into making Casa Del Trigo a place I like to stay and enjoy. Hopefully you will enjoy it as much as I do.

Why they chose this property

The neighborhood allows me to get away from the hustle and bustle of the big city life. This is where I come to relax. Any place I want to go is just minutes away. Traffic is almost never a problem. The neighbors are generous with their time and watch out for one another. This is a pet friendly neighborhood. Everyone seems to have a dog (or two). I love pets so barking dogs don't bother me. For instance, the neighbors have small dogs on a shared fence line. Most of the time they leave them outside. They cannot access the yard but their barking can be heard intermittently. I love pets, so barking dogs don't bother me.

What makes this property unique

Finding this property was part of a 15 year search. My dream was to be able to live (and occasionally work) in Paso Robles. My search ended when I found a well neglected, run down rental house. After much time, hard work and effort the rental gradually became Casa Del Trigo. We offer free EV charging for those who embrace electric car technology. There is a hot tub on the back patio for those who simply want to soak and relax. One of my hobbies is gardening so I'm always experimenting with what grows well in this climate. The garden is always a work in progress. The work continues even today with small changes being made here and there. We always make changes based on our guests feedback because we want to make it and experience they will remember and share with others.
