We had a very nice week visiting the shore and staying at this house. The house is very much a "shore vacation house" so if you are looking for brand new, remodeled with a chef's kitchen, keep scrolling. If you want fantastic location, lots of beds and a responsive and pleasant owner then you've found it. Yes, some things in the house were dated but we were expecting that. The AC worked, the pool was FANTASTIC (warm, clean and really saved the trip when the beach had red flags), the view was to die for and we easily fit 12 people.

We had the best time the house is quirky and interesting, so many places to hang out!the pool is great and so are thr 2 hottubs. The ocean acrooss the street and the boardwalk is so much fun!!we are coming back next year!

Lipstick on a pig. The pool and hot tubs and outdoor space are great. The inside needs updating.

The house is huge and located waterfront on Seaside park with 2 wonderful hot tubs and a pool. The house is in need of a facelift inside, it is old, dark, and dingy. The owners tried to keep the security deposit without cause. Good for a crowd, and cheaper than all other rentals in the area, but would not go back.

Irrational owner

Rented the house because of the pool. Pool was green when we arrived. Owner's reply " I can't guarantee amenities". Only reason for selecting the property was the pool. Told owner I refused to pay the balance until he fixed the pool. He said then "get out". We refused and he said he'd call the police. We said please do. Police arrived and told us they couldn't kick us out nor could they make us pay. Police, on our request , wrote an incident report an took pictures of the pool.Owner had his pool guy come back on Wednesday. Pool guy said the pump is broken and the owner would be given a proposal to Buy new. Although the pool was still unusable, I sent the balance to owner on Wednesday which he received on Thursday. Wednesday afternoon pool guy installed new pump. Still no good. Pool guy said need an electrician because pump not getting power. Friday electrician came and reported a bad switch which he changed. Saturday morning , the pool guy came to clean the pool. Party of 14 with 4 little children and we were unable to spend one minute in the pool. As of this writing, I have not received my Refund although the owner admitted that he had not submitted any claim of Damage. Refund was due contractually by September 3rd. Today is September 13 and I have no refund. VRBO SHOULD PULL THIS GUY FROM YOUR LISTINGS.

Great place. Great location. Great host.

John was an active and attentive host. House location right across the street from the beach (awesome beach with controlled access) and just down the street from the pier, boardwalk and carnival. The house has lots of bedrooms and beds; ideal for large families. House is one of the original on the island, but has very new appliances (frig, range, dishwasher, washer/dryer), and two newly remodeled full bathrooms. The three pools are exceptionally clean and warm. Our four families had a great week together.
