About this property

The Green Room Bungalow with Salt water pool

This is a one of a kind private luxury home 30 minutes from Tampa Airport , nestled between Clearwater, St Petersburg and close to the beautiful gulf beaches! Our home sit’s on 1 acre of natural Florida landscaping.
The house is set up like a small resort with a 4/4 and can be individually rented or as a whole house for the opportunity to have friends and family join in.
Guests have private entrance to your suites with full bath, mini fridge, coffee maker, microwave, large internet ready TV, free wi fi and internet access, use of large salt water pool, gas grill, private sunbathing area, 2 outdoor fire pits with plenty of seating areas. We do provide gas for the Gas Grill, coin laundry located in the garage. We have firewood for $7 bundled.
This room does not open up to the pool this room is in the front of the house. The room that opens to the pool is the West Wing.
Jeff and I live only a mile away so if you need anything we are always available, but also leave you alone for your privacy!
The beach is 2 miles away, the closest is Indian shores.
Our home has 3 suites available, or whole house all with the same amenities, so if you are traveling with other couples or friends it's the perfect place. We can host up to 6-8 people at a time.
You can start your morning with some coffee k cups provided.
We have been known as clean freaks, we wash all bedding, including quilts, pillow shams, and blankets between every guest. You can rest easy knowing this!
Sorry we do not allow children or pets and I no longer make rum cakes.

Wonderful location and hosts! Love that it’s adults only.

We had a great stay. This place is wonderful and no fuss! Only recommendation would be a different bed frame that doesn’t make noise every time you move on/off bed. Otherwise, amazing! We will be back.

Quiet, peaceful relaxation

This is a lovely little place. It was quiet, and very beautiful. The wife and I appreciated the beauty of the plants on the property. It was like being in your own little oasis. Sitting outside in the evening was very peaceful, And a plus was, NO BUGS. We will definitely visit again.

Poor water heater

Overall, this was an enjoyable experience. Our frustrations are concerning the water heater. I have no idea who all is sharing the same water heater at this property, but throughout the entire weekend only one of us had a hot shower on one occasion, and the rest of the showers were just warm, one of them being completely cold.

AMAZING

Everything about this stay was perfect. The room was exactly like the pictures. Unfortunately we didn’t get to use the pool since the weather was a little chilly while we were staying, but we did get to sit in the chairs that were provided and it was relaxing and enjoyable. Lynn was very kind and made sure we had everything we needed and also made sure we knew we could contact her if needed. This place is amazing, cozy, and private. We will definitely be staying here next time we travel to Florida.

Relax in very private setting

Lynn was EXTREMELY reachable and even while she was on her own campcation! The setting is GORGEOUS and very private. Like being in your own tropical island. We didn't have time to hang outside and walk the entire property but it is in a perfect location if you want to be just minutes from the beaches and not far from inland cities like Seminole & Largo and Tampa not terribly far away either. Interior was clean and decorated perfectly for a Floridian getaway! Highly recommend this location and will be coming back soon!

Motel room 3star

I would like to say the truth. Sorry, you cannot buy everyone with rum cake :))) So...Not enough privacy and no cozy sitting by the house. Guys, in pictures looks like you are having entrance to the swimming pool, not true! You will have to walk around all building to access the pool. The owners are living in the building and they are cooking, looking thru window at you when you are swimming! LOL! The beach is 2miles from green room(please don't believe it is only 0.5miles ) . At least 2miles if you lucky to find parking that close. Laundry...the door was locked we couldn't get to that room. Go and ask the owners to open? It should be open or the code should be given. Cameras and rules everywhere! Don't do this, don't do that... would be much nicer to find a list what we can see in area, which restaurant worth to visit... or numbers of the street were to park a car at the beach. Or music in the pool instead these stupid rules. Never end questions "are you ok?' No, it's not ok, when owner blocked driveway by huge camper! We had to drive backward ! Owners having a big backyard, they can park there! Good thing is the room is clean. Has a mini fridge, microwave, coffee machine, air conditioner, hair dryer, some plates, spoons, soap, towels. Like in 3star motel. Bonus is a grill outside and beach chairs we borrowed. Thank you for that.

**long post**First thing first. This family put work into this because it’s paradise. I’ve never been to Florida but if i needed a place that made me want to it was this. The pool was always available. We even started a bonfire. The house is tucked away so nobody can see anything from the street. I thought that was cool. Beach was close. Publix, liquor store and places to eat were close. The best part was me having to stay a little longer because of our flight and Lynne was able to get us in their pink cottage for a bit. They gave us our privacy but were able to help with any questions. I could’ve taken more pics but take my word. It looks exactly as shown and better in person. I would love to stay here anytime in the future. 10/10 highly recommend.

Staycation

The green room was very comfy. What a nice touch to have two pieces of rum cake on the dining table, then a complimentary bag of ice and the wonderful swimming pool and beer! The house has a beautiful landscape and we were near to many great places.We use the 5 off coupon for PJ’s Oyster Bar. It was a great dinner experience. At night my wife was not feeling well and the pain reliever pills came in handy. You have more amenities than expected. Thank you for hosting us!

I grew in a small town in upstate New York called Le Roy, we moved to Geneseo in 1973 where I met my husband Jeff. we came to Florida to visit his Grandmother and had such an awesome time, we knew we wanted to live here. I have been in the hospitality business for years. When our 2 sons moved out we wanted to downsize and move but we would never find a house or piece of property anywhere in the county. We decided to take a chance and convert the 3 bedrooms each with full baths into vacation rentals. So far it's going great, the only thing I can say is that it's hard to say goodby when you meet such wonderful people.
