Very enjoyable stay! It’s tucked into the trees on a forested hill. Quiet, shady, and peaceful. Easy to sleep-in because the sunlight is muted. And we were able to cook meals with the standard assortment of cookware. The unit sits below the property owner’s dwelling but it feels very private and separate. Very little noise transfers between lodgings and the setup is designed well. Host is communicative and thoughtful; you can meet in person or not; very amenable. The shaded patio is great for enjoying morning coffee. Fast WiFi if you need it. No complaints and we would rent again.

I'm a retired marketing director from San Francisco. Originally from Texas, I moved to San Francisco in 1990 and first visited the Russian River that summer. I fell in love.
I bought my home in Guerneville in 2012 and completely renovated it from the ground up. I've been hosting the past 4 years on AirBnB exclusively, but I'm now branching out to VRBO.

Why they chose this property

I wanted a short-term rental space that would allow me to supplement my retirement and give me a part-time job.
Everything was about finding a place guests would love. Somewhere close to town, but far enough away to be quiet and feel like you're in the woods. Having Northwood Golf Course and Restaurant and Bia Cafe in walking distance made the location even more special.

What makes this property unique

The quiet and nature. Nine Trees was about creating a romantic refuge to exhale.
