Very nice house in a quiet secluded area only 10 minutes out of Townsend. Only issues we had was the wi-fi was not all that dependable with a lot of buffering and phones had trouble connecting to it. And the glass wall facing the western view is great much of the day but as you get into the afternoon the sun comes blazing into the kitchen and living room and there are not any window coverings to use to shield you from it. This was only an issue for us because it was quite warm during our stay.
This cabin is just lovely, quiet, and cozy. My entire family loved staying here. The beds are very comfortable. The kitchen has high quality appliances and is easy to navigate. The hot tub was a hit! We all had amazing experiences here.
Well maintained property and stunning views from the back decks. The shaded screen porch with fan and large TV added a nice touch in the early evenings. The hot tub was used by me and the group which added some relief to some aching muscles! Beds were very comfortable. We will most likely be looking for this listing each year as we attend the Smoky Mountain Highland Games in May.

This is a large open floor home, in Townsend Tn. We choose this home to spend time with family grilling on the patio while admiring the view. In Less than 24 hrs we had requested assistance 3 times. Sadly grilling was not going to be available as stated when booked. We contacted the host via VRBO and requested a grill. We were told they would update us but didn't. When we followed up with VRBO, we were informed we would not be getting a replacement for the damaged one that was provided and the grill was being pulled from the listing. Issues we had in under 24 hrs Poor communication. Very spotty cell reception and Internet service provided by host/home was very bad or none at all. The main tv cannot be operated unless you are standing up and 6ft tall due to the location above the mantel. Tinted windows overlooking the decks and mountains would be a welcome improvement. The sun heats the house up very quickly. The kitchen has the bear minimum. Bunks bed is in the laundry area. We were provided 1 dishwashing tablet for the 3 nights we had. We loved the location and sunsets. With a little bit of updating this would be a much better home.

Great Location!
This place was amazing and we would stay there again. It was in the middle of the woods (we even saw a bear!), had tons of amenities (except a can opener) and lots of space with many levels and lots of decks. The down side was that the hot tub was not working the whole time we were there. We were told that we would get some kind of refund but that didn't happen. We also couldn't get the speakers to work with the large TV downstairs and the sound bar also kept going in and out. All that being said, it was a nice place and I'm sure everything is fixed by now.
This cabin is beautiful! The layout of the rooms is perfect for a multigenerational family to spend time together and have enough room to enjoy quiet time as well. The drive up to the cabin is easy and you feel as though you are in your own private forest with stunning views yet you are only minutes away from the town and close to the GSM park. We hope to return to this cabin soon.
