A lovely gite in an attractive village

We had a wonderful stay. Rebecca is a wonderful host and the gite has everything you could want. The master bedroom on the 2nd floor has superb views over the village. It’s a wonderful base to explore the surrounding area.

Cottage in La Garde Freinet

We had a wonderful week staying in Rebecca’s lovely house, which is very special. The outside courtyard with BBQ was perfect for an evening in and the kitchen had everything you needed to rustle up a meal. The short walk into the village centre was ideal for enjoying village life, with a great choice of restaurants and small shops.The coast is 30 minutes down the hill and we enjoyed going to the beaches you recommend. It was lovely to meet you too Rebecca and we look forward to coming to stay again.

Ett underbart semesterhus i en fin liten fransk by. Huset har allt du kan önska dig, och bäst av allt, en liten ljuvlig uteplats att äta frukost och tillbringa kvällarna på. Två fina sovrum med eget badrum och toalett- perfekt. Värden är enastående hjälpsam, vi fick punktering, och hon hjälpte oss med allt, fantastisk! I byn finns allt du behöver(utom nytt däck till bilen) omgivningarna är fantastiska för vandringar och bad. Kan verkligen rekommenderas.

Côte d'Azur entspannt

Wir haben eine Woche mit unserem 2 1/2jährigen und unserem Hund in diesem wirklich wunderhübschen und gemütlichen Dorfhaus verbracht. Es ist noch viel geräumiger als es auf den Bildern wirkt und bestens ausgestattet. Auf dem Tisch standen duftende Pfingstrosen und Für uns besonders angenehm war der kleine, geschlossene Vorgarten/Innenhof mit dem schicken Gasgrill, in welchem unser Sohn gefahrlos im Schatten der blühenden Blumen spielen konnte. Auch für unseren Hund war das toll. Ein paar Schritte hinter dem Haus führt schon der kleine Weg in den Wald und hoch bis zum Fort Freinet - ein schöner Spaziergang mit einigen anspruchsvolleren Passagen und herrlichen Ausblicken auf das Dorf. Auch der Weg ins Dorfzentrum selbst ist durch malerische Gassen angenehm auch mit dem Bollerwagen zu laufen: dort gibt es einige hübsche Geschäfte, Cafés und Restaurants, sowie eine sehr gute Bäckerei, alles was man braucht zu Fuss ohne grosse Steigung zu erreichen - nicht selbstverständlich in den alten Dörfern der Gegend. Alles war sehr entspannt und unaufgeregt. In der Saison ist es wahrscheinlich trubeliger. Schnell ist man auch in Grimaud und an der Küste. Aber auch das Hinterland ist wunderschön! Um einen Urlaub mit Kind und Hund an der Cote d'Azur zu verbringen können wir das Haus sehr empfehlen! Eins der hübschesten und bestgelegensten Häuser in denen wir waren (und das waren schon viele). Einzig das Parken direkt vor dem Haus war nicht immer möglich. Danke Rebecca! Cati, Jan und Flint

Un séjour très agréable

La maison est charmante et on s’y sent tout de suite bien . notre hôte a été disponible et discrète . Les literies sont très bonnes et la cuisine bien équipée . Tout ceci dans un village pittoresques avec de jolies promenades alentour . Rien à critiquer, ce fut un réveillon très réussi

Joli village

Jolie maison au calme bien équipée dans charmant village aux ruelles étroites à 2 mn à pied des commerces, bars, restaurants . Seul bémol le stationnement il faut se garer à l entrée du village ou prendre son mal en patience car il n y a pas de place réservée devant la maison.

Pittoresk bolig i eldste delen av landsbyen, sjarmerende, kort til restauranter, butikk. Meget trange gater i den delen av byen, og få parkeringsmuligheter, men kan anbefales.

Winter in La Garde Freinet

Meine Familie verbrachte wunderschöne Wintertage im Dezember und Januar in La Garde Freinet und Umgebung. Das Haus war wie beschrieben und bot viel Platz für 2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder. Durch die geschmackvolle und reichhaltige Ausstattung fühlten wir uns sehr wohl in dem kleinen Haus. Der gusseiserne Ofen half, die kalten Winterabende gemütlich zu machen. Rebecca ist eine sehr gute Gastgeberin, die gut kommunizierte und alle Fragen im Vorfeld beantwortete. Alles war unkompliziert. Eine sehr gute Erfahrung, die wir uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen können.

A wee gem!

We had a fantastic two weeks in La Garde Freinet (our third holiday in a row there) made even better by our accommodation. Becky’s house is a wee gem. Clean, well equipped and comfortable.....a home from home! The cute little “private” front garden with a gas BBQ was a real bonus for us. We enjoyed many a glass of wine after a long day out as well as a few BBQs. Becky is a brilliant host; very approachable and on hand when needed. Casa e paesi stupendi!

La casa di Rebecca è bellissima, con tutti i confort.e' posizionata in una zona del paese molto tranquilla. Il paese è bellissimo, da favola! È vicino a molte attrazioni, mare, lago, montagna. Abbiamo trascorso una settimana perfetta. Complimenti a Rebecca per la casa.
